BetUS college basketball bettors can look out west on Saturday, as the Arizona State Sun Devils (17-10 SU, 12-11 ATS) in Pacific 10 Conference action that is scheduled to get underway at 6 PM ET at the Wells Fargo Arena.

Here are some of the NCAA college basketball betting trends as they relate to this matchup:

* USC has won nine of its last 12 games SU

* USC has won five of its last six road games SU

* ASU has lost eight of its last 11 games SU

* ASU has won 13 of its last 17 home games SU

* ASU has lost four of its last five home games SU

* USC has covered 10 of the last 15 meetings

* USC has won six of the last eight meetings SU

* Four of the last five meetings have gone UNDER the total

* USC has covered nine of the last 12 meetings as the road team

* USC has won five of the last seven meetings SU as the road team

* USC has had the rebounding edge in seven of the last nine meetings

USC has gone for a while with a very thinned-out roster, but Daniel Hackett, who had a back injury that reduced USC's rotation to about six players, has returned to action, playing 24 minutes against Arizona. He should play even more of a role in this back end of the swing through Arizona. And his teammates have to be commended on their road prowess, which has included five wins in the last six games. The Trojans most likely cemented a spot in the NCAA tourney with their win over the Wildcats, in which they never seemed to let Kevin O'Neill's team in the game en route to a 70-58 victory.

Tim Floyd's defensive scheme drove Jerryd Bayless nuts in that one, as the sensational Arizona freshman scored only eight points, his low on the season. Considering that Bayless came into the game as the Pac-10's second leading scorer, that's a tremendous feat indeed. Now USC can turn its attention to another great frosh, ASU's James Harden, who was suffocated at times by Ben Howland's UCLA defense on Thursday night. as Harden goes, so go the Devils, so expect pressure to come from all areas - and that's where Hackett's presence can come in especially handy.

With USC showing us its road chops and NCAA basketball betting odds.
