Tigers are Tops - SEC Betting Power Poll

Auburn continued to be the hot BetUS Sportsbook last week.

1: Auburn Tigers (15-5 ATS, 17-10 SU) (8-4 ATS, 6-6 SU in SEC) (LW: 1) It doesn’t seem to matter who the Tigers are playing, they’re always finding ways to cover the spread! They ran their ATS winning streak to five games with a comfortable win over Georgia and a 79-72 loss in the Bayou. Two of the hottest ATS teams in the entire country will be on display on Wednesday when the Rebels roll into town.

This Week: Home vs. Mississippi, Away @ Mississippi State

2: Mississippi Rebels (15-7 ATS, 15-11 SU) (10-2 ATS, 6-6 SU in SEC) (LW: 2) The Rebs improved to 8-2 ATS on the season in Oxford after upsetting Tennessee and blowing out Georgia last week. They’re 8-1 ATS in their L/9, but will have a very tough task heading into Auburn this week. A 6-2 ATS road record should give them confidence, though.

This Week: Away @ Auburn, Home vs. Alabama

3: Kentucky Wildcats (12-9-1 ATS, 19-8 SU) (6-6 ATS, 8-4 SU in SEC) (LW: 3) The Wildcats likely have done enough to get in the field of 65 now. They took out Tennessee in a big way last weekend, and with recent wins over Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas, should have built a strong enough resume as long as they hold serve against the teams they should beat down the stretch. A win against one of the top dogs in the conference wouldn’t hurt matters though.

This Week: Away @ South Carolina, Home vs. LSU

4: Arkansas Razorbacks (10-8 ATS, 13-12 SU) (5-7 ATS, 1-11 SU in SEC) (LW: 7) No one could see this collapse coming for the Razorbacks. After going 5-1 ATS and 12-1 SU in non-conference play, Arkansas has just totally fallen off the map in conference play. It has now lost seven straight games, but at least covered the spread against both Carolina and LSU last week. Alabama is the only team the Backs have beaten in conference this year, and between that and a visit from Georgia, the odds have it, there’ll be at least one win on the slate this week.

This Week: Away @ Alabama, Home vs. Georgia

5: Mississippi State Bulldogs (11-9-1 ATS, 17-10 SU) (7-5 ATS, 7-5 SU in SEC) (LW: 5) Every time the Bulldogs take one step forward, they seem to take one step back. A 75-70 win over South Carolina did absolute wonders for their NCAA Tournament hopes, but an 87-85 loss in Tuscaloosa may be too much to overcome. A victory in Rocky Top this week is an absolute must, but unfortunately for MSU, the same can be said for the Vols in what could be a de facto elimination game.

This Week: Away @ Tennessee, Home vs. Auburn

6: LSU Tigers (10-9 ATS, 23-4 SU) (7-5 ATS, 11-1 SU in SEC) (LW: 4) That’s eight straight wins now for the Bayou Bengals after beating Auburn and Arkansas last week. The problem is that sports betting gurus are hurting, as they’ve lost three straight betting decisions in LSU games by a total of seven points. Though they’re unranked, the Tigers are still getting in according to all of the prognosticators, as many have them as an 8 or a 9 seed in the big dance. They’ll get in, but a pair of wins this week should send them shooting up the seedings.

This Week: Home vs. Florida, Away @ Kentucky

7: South Carolina Gamecocks (8-10-2 ATS, 19-6 SU) (5-5-2 ATS, 8-4 SU in SEC) (LW: 6) For now, the Gamecocks are still packing their dancing shoes for March Madness, but boy is it a tenuous spot to be in. They really could use three more victories to nail down a bid, but the next three games are all very losable. One thing’s for sure though: There aren’t many basketball bettors too happy with Carolina right now (0-3-1 ATS in L/4).

This Week: Home vs. Kentucky, Away @ Vanderbilt

8: Tennessee Volunteers (10-13-1 ATS, 16-10 SU) (5-7 ATS, 6-6 SU in SEC) (LW: 8) With just two road wins on the season, Tennessee looks like a team that would almost prefer playing in the NIT to the NCAA Tournament. There’s still a lot of basketball to be played, but the Vols are clearly in need of a few more wins to avoid having their bubble burst. After losing to Kentucky and Mississippi last week, nothing will come as a surprise, especially with a hot MSU team and a UF team looking for revenge on this week’s schedule.

This Week: Home vs. Mississippi State, Away @ Florida

And the rest…

9: Alabama Crimson Tide (9-11-1 ATS, 14-12 SU) (4-7-1 ATS, 4-8 SU in SEC) (LW: 11)

10: Florida Gators (8-11-1 ATS, 21-6 SU) (6-5-1 ATS, 8-4 SU in SEC) (LW: 9)

11: Vanderbilt Commodores (9-13-1 ATS, 16-10 SU) (3-8-1 ATS, 5-7 SU in SEC) (LW: 10)

12: Georgia Bulldogs (7-12-2 ATS, 10-17 SU) (3-8-1 ATS, 1-11 SU in SEC) (LW: 12)
