College Basketball 2 Team Parlay Picks

The middle of the week is packed with college basketball betting value. As the schedule shrinks and spots in the field of 65 get clearer, teams are turning up the intensity during conference play. Here's a look at a few programs that are currently sitting on the fence when it comes to the NCAA Tournament. A win Wednesday would definitely improve their chances come Selection Sunday . . .
Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Louisville Cardinals
Both these Big East programs are scratching for a place in the Big Dance. The Irish know all about getting burned by the selection committee, having missed the NCAA Tournament last year despite winning 21 games in the toughest conference in the country.
This season things are even cloudier when it comes to Notre Dame's tournament future, as they’ve gone 17-9 overall (9-10-1 against the college basketball pointspreads) but just 6-7 in conference play. It is coming off back-to-back losses to Big East basement dwellers (St. John's and Seton Hall) and could be without star center Luke Harangody Wednesday night. Harangody missed Sunday's loss to the Red Storm due to a bum knee and is currently a game-time decision.

The Cardinals own a slightly better Big East mark, going 7-5 against conference foes and 16-9 overall (8-12 ATS). They are fresh off a huge win against the Syracuse Orange in the Carrier Dome this past weekend and have picked up steam in the conference, going 4-2 since losing three straight in January.
Forwards Samardo Samuels and Terrence Jennings could have a field day inside if Notre Dame's big man is missing in action. Both players struggled to produce offensively against Syracuse, scoring a combined 12 points while grabbing 11 rebounds and committing six total fouls.
Florida State Seminoles at Virginia Cavaliers
The Virginia Cavaliers' wild ride in the ACC is over. They exploded out of the blocks with a 3-1 start to conference play but have since won just two of their past seven ACC games and, without a true resume win, are clinging to a spot in the tournament.
Virginia is currently sliding on the three-game funk with its most recent loss coming to Maryland this past weekend. That was the team's second game in an 11-day span that has them at home to FSU then hitting the road at Clemson and Miami.
Head coach Tony Bennett, who was an early Coach of the Year favorite, knows how important this stretch run is to his team's NCAA hopes. He's instilled the same hard-nosed defense that turned around Washington State, leading to the third-stingiest defense in the ACC at 65.6 points per conference game. However, against the Terrapins, Virginia watched as Maryland shot 70 percent in the first half and finished with an 85-66 win as 9-point home favorites – just the third conference opponent to top the 80-point mark against the Cavaliers in the past 10 games.
The ‘Noles are just as hungry when it comes to a place in March Madness. Florida State knocked off Boston College this past weekend, giving it five wins in its past eight games while covering the college basketball pointspreads in just two of those contests. At 18-7 overall and with wins over Marquette, Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia Tech twice not holding much water, the Seminoles have to finish the ACC calendar with a bang.
Guard Michael Snaer has become a big part of FSU's late-season push. The freshman took a starting job from Deividas Dulkys against Miami on February 6, scoring nine points. In the next game, versus Clemson, Snaer netted 10 points and then followed that with 18 points in the win over Boston College. He was 2-for-3 from outside in that game, giving the Seminoles some of their most solid shooting in past weeks. Florida State has gone ice cold from beyond the arc, hitting just 28 percent (22-for-77) from the three-point line this month, including a dismal 6-for-24 against the Terps.
