The Florida Gators (16-2) will again take the floor as the No. 1 team in The Associated Press' college basketball poll for the second time this season when they host Mississippi (12-5) on Saturday. The defending national champs moved up from second following North Carolina's loss to Virginia Tech last weekend.

The Gators, at 6-4-1 ATS (against the spread), will try to build on that number against the Rebels, who are a profitable 9-5 ATS. In conference play, Florida is 3-0 and Mississippi is 1-2. The Gators have yet to be beaten at home this year, at 12-0.

The upset by Virginia Tech put them in the Top 25 for the first time in more than a decade. The Hokies (13-4), winners of four straight and nine of ten, came in at No. 23. Virginia Tech will host Maryland Sunday evening. On the year, Virginia Tech is just 7-7 ATS. Home cookin' may help them improve on that number, considering they are unblemished this season with a 9-0 record.

Wisconsin and UCLA both moved up one place to second and third, while North Carolina dropped three spots after holding the No. 1 ranking for one week.

There are three games involving two ranked teams this weekend: Oklahoma State at Texas A&M; Arizona at UCLA; and Marquette at Pittsburgh.
