The Scoop: The Badgers have won four consecutive games, including the last three in emphatic fashion. Illinois has lost three straight and five of six games while averaging a paltry 57.2 points per contest on 37.4 percent shooting from the field.

Analysis: The outcome of this contest looks like an absolute lock for the Badgers as they are headed in one direction and the Fighting Illini’ are headed in another totally different direction.

I have no idea why Wisconsin isn’t favored to win this matchup by more than eight points, but I want to advise college basketball betting enthusiasts everywhere to jump on this lock and ride it all the way to the bank.

Wisconsin’s emphatic win less than a week ago, looks like a wonderful indicator of just what the Badgers are going to do to the Fighting Illini’ in this contest.

Simply put, play the Wisconsin Badgers to win and advance while covering the college basketball betting line with plenty of room to spare.
