NCAA College Basketball Betting - Gator's Dominance Continues

Tonight, the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (18-6).

Alabama would love to put a stop to the Gator's streaks and potential records while taking the cash, but it's not going to be easy considering the Crimson Tide are 1-4-1 ATS (against the spread) in the last six meetings. Also, the Crimson Tide are 0-4-1 ATS in the last five contests played in Florida.

Florida downed the No. 20 Wildcats of Kentucky 64-61 (push) on Saturday, coming within one victory of its third 17-game winning streak in 15 months. The Gators started last season 17-0 and won their final 11 games, including the national championship, before starting this season with six straight wins.

Florida is also one win shy of matching the school record for regular-season victories in a season set in 2002-03 and 2005-06. The Gators are one home win off the school record of 16 set last season and in 1985-86.

The Gators, the unanimous No. 1 for the second straight week, are also on track to become the first team besides Kentucky to go undefeated in the SEC in the modern era.

Florida has won nine of eleven games against Alabama, including five straight at home. However, the Crimson Tide ended a five-game losing streak in the series with an 82-77 victory in the last meeting on Feb. 26.

The Crimson Tide lost 75-69 at Mississippi on Saturday, ending a three-game winning streak. The loss dropped SEC West, and was the fourth straight game decided in the final minutes for the Tide. The Crimson Tide are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games vs. SEC opponents.

It's important to note, heading into tonight's game, that the Gators are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games vs. a team with a winning SU (straight up) record. As well, the Gators are 21-10-1 ATS in their last 32 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

Florida (-15½) enters tonight's game as the chalk, which is good news for Gator supporters, as the favorite is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings.

Alabama has had just one payday in their last eight games, and when playing away from home their investors have been treated rudely, where the Crimson Tide are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Add in the fact the home team is 7-2-1 ATS in the last ten meetings, and it's hard to not take Florida in this one.
