College basketball betting enthusiasts will get two excellent opportunities to ‘break the bank’ with this entertaining NCAA Basketball Parlay of Picks feature.

The Michigan Wolverines host the Minnesota Gophers in a value-packed Big Ten battle while the red-hot Marquette Golden Eagles host the Louisville Cardinals in a Big East contest that could have postseason implications for both ballclubs.

With tip-off times for both contests, just hours away, let me get started.

Minnesota at Michigan 7:00 PM ET
: Pick ‘em

Minnesota Golden Gophers (17-11 SU, 13-14 ATS, 12-14 O/U)
Michigan Wolverines (13-15 SU, 12-12 ATS, 7-17 O/U)

The Michigan Wolverines will be looking to put a halt to their three-game losing streak when they host the Minnesota Golden Gophers at Crisler Arena tonight at 7 PM ET.

Here is a look at some key trends as they relate to tonight’s contest.

  • Favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
  • Golden Gophers are 2-5 ATS in the last 7 meetings.
  • Golden Gophers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
  • Wolverines are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a home underdog.

Minnesota has won three of its last four games and threw a wrench into Illinois' NCAA tournament plans by taking down the Fighting Illini’ 62-60 on Saturday. The Golden Gophers held Illinois to a dismal 31.9 percent shooting mark in the win while cover the college basketball betting odds as a 3-point road underdog to move to a perfect 4-0 ATS over the last four games.

Michigan has dropped three straight games and was roughed up by Big Ten rival Ohio State on Saturday. The Wolverines lost 66-55 but managed to narrowly cover the college basketball betting line as a 12.5-point road underdog to snap a three-game ATS losing streak.

Analysis: I’ll get right to the point with this pick by saying I fully expect the Minnesota Golden Gophers to take down the Michigan Wolverines with ease tonight as they win for the fourth time in five games and cover the college hoops betting odds for the fifth consecutive game.

Michigan is just 5-6 ATS at home this season and averages just over 11 points per game less than Minnesota this season and has failed to cover the spread in two straight against the Golden Gophers despite winning each of the last two meetings.

I think Minnesota has the far better head coach in the widely-respected Tubby Smith in this matchup and the better overall team, no matter what’s happened in the past between these two schools.

Play the Minnesota olden Gophers for the outright road win and ATS victory as a Pick ‘em tonight.

NCAAB Free Picks: Minnesota as a Pick ‘em

Louisville at Marquette 9:30 PM ET
NCAA Betting Odds:
Marquette -1.5

Louisville Cardinals (19-10 SU, 9-15 ATS, 14-9 O/U)
Marquette Golden Eagles (19-9 SU, 14-7-1 ATS, 12-10 O/U)

The Marquette Golden Eagles will be looking to extend their winning ways when they host the Louisville Cardinals in a Big East showdown at the Bradley Center tonight at 9:30 PM ET.

Here is a look at some key NCAAB betting trends as they relate to tonight’s contest.

  • Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
  • Under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Marquette.
  • Underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.
  • Road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings.
  • Cardinals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog of 0.5-6.5.
  • Golden Eagles are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

Louisville has won four of its last five games and beat the red-hot UConn Huskies 78-76 on Sunday Samardo Samuels poured in 14 points and Preston Knowles and Jerry Smith each added 12 points. Louisville cashed in for college basketball betting enthusiasts as 4-point road underdogs to snap a three-game ATS losing streak.

Marquette won its third straight overtime contest by beating the Seton hall Pirates 84-83 on Sunday. Senior forward Lazar Hayward scored a team-high 23 points to lead Marquette to victory while Darius Johnson-Odom and David Cubillan each added 16 points in the win. The Golden Eagles failed to cover the college basketball moneyline as 2.5-point road underdogs but have gone a robust 4-1-1 ATS over the last six games.

Analysis: This matchup between two very evenly matched Big East ballclubs figures to be an absolute thriller, but in the end, I think the Marquette Golden Eagles will be victorious, mostly, because they will be playing on their home floor against a Louisville team that has gone an uninspiring 4-6 SU and ATS on the road this season.

Marquette has recorded a stellar 12-3 SU mark on their home floor while also going a respectable 5-4 ATS at home.

I also like the Golden Eagles to try and extract some revenge for their four consecutive losses against the Cardinals and think tonight’s small point spread is a perfect opportunity for Marquette backers to cash in for the fifth straight time.

Louisville has gone 1-3 ATS over their last four and just 2-5 ATS over their last seven games overall. I know the Cardinals have beaten Syracuse and UConn in two of their last thee road wins, but Marquette has shown an amazing ability to keep fighting no matter the circumstances.

I like the Golden Eagles to handle the Cardinals tonight and just narrowly cover the odds as slight home favorites.
