Sun Belt Conference Betting – Denver Pioneers vs. North Texas Mean Green

In the West Division of the Sun Belt Conference, North Texas has ruled with an iron fist. Helping matters has been the awesome venue of the Super Pit, a ten-thousand seat, hell hole for visiting teams. North Texas has not won the Sun Belt Conference since 2007, and to get another crack at the big title, they’ll have to get past the Denver Pioneers.
With an in-conference record of 13-5 SU, North Texas is considered the best team in the Sun Belt and their 22-8 SU record overall certainly helps pad those assumptions. The team is built on the backs of Josh White, Tristan Thompson and Eric Tramiel who average 42.0 points per game between the three of them. They’ve become a recognizable force in the Sun Belt, and the lean on each other to move the ball effectively.
In their past five games that had a betting line, North Texas has done quite well. They’re 3-1-1 ATS in the past five, and at home they’ve gone 7-3 ATS this season. Straight up, they’ve owned Denver for the past 10 meetings, going 8-2 SU in those games. They’re just 5-4-1 ATS when playing Denver, but with no spread tonight, this seems like an open and shut case.

Simply put, no team in the Sun Belt goes in to North Texas and earns an easy victory and considering Denver’s unreliable play lately, the bet tonight is North Texas with the win.
