Big players step up in big games, and this week, BetUS Sportsbook takes a look at the top individual performances from last week's games that helped you cash winning college football betting tickets against the college football point spreads...

QB Landry Jones and RB DeMarco Murray, Oklahoma Sooners: A week after Jones chucked five interceptions, he turned around and threw five touchdown passes against a hungry Texas A&M squad. He went 24/39 for 392 yards in Oklahoma's 65-10 romp. The victory locked up bowl eligibility for HC Bob Stoops' club. Jones' favorite receiver was RB DeMarco Murray. Murray hauled in five passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns. The passing attack opened up the ground game as well, as Murray rushed for 80 yards on 18 carries. It all added up to a whopping 640 yards of offense for the Sooners, which gave their fans a little glimpse back to last season when they were so dominant offensively.

RB Dexter McCluster, Mississippi Rebels: McCluster was a Running Rebel on Saturday, indeed! The hero for Ole Miss was the littlest guy on the field. The senior ran for a whopping 282 yards on 25 carries and caught four balls for 42 yards. His four total touchdowns bailed out QB Jevan Snead who only went 13/20 for 133 yards with a pick. The senior is starting to remind NFL scouts of another undersized quick back currently playing for the Tennessee Titans; RB Chris Johnson. McCluster has now rushed for 755 yards and hauled in 31 passes for 394 yards on the season, while accounting for seven touchdowns. If not for him, the Rebels may still be searching for bowl eligibility.

WR Danario Alexander, Missouri Tigers: Alexander is making Tigers fans forget about Jeremy Maclin. The top Mizzou receiver had a massive game against a hapless Kansas State defense, catching ten passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. His first score, a 54-yard strike from QB Blaine Gabbert, set the tone and gave Mizzou a lead that it would never relinquish. The last score, an 80-yarder, sucked the life out of K-State, which had just cut the lead to 17-12. The 38-12 victory locked up a bowl bid for the 6-4 Tigers, who have struggled at times offensively this season. Don't blame Alexander, though. He has racked up 81 catches for 1,238 yards and 11 scores, which may make him the next Missouri wide receiver to make an impact in the NFL.

DB Kendric Burney, North Carolina Tar Heels: The Tar Heels also locked up their bowl bid on Saturday when they took out the Hurricanes 33-24. The secondary frustrated Miami QB Jacory Harris all day, as Harris chucked four interceptions and only completed 28 of his 50 passes. The leader of the bunch was Burney, who picked off three of those passes. The junior set a North Carolina record with 170 INT return yards. One of those interceptions was returned for a touchdown, while the final of the three was fumbled, picked up, and brought in for six as well. The 170 yards also set an ACC record. Burney became the first Tar Heel since Dre' Bly to pick off three passes in a game.
