College Football Week 11 Rankings - Big East Power Poll

Bookmark and Share by Mike Rose

The Big East plugged along last week with another week of ups and downs in BetUS football betting. Find out how the teams stack up against each other in this week's college football power rankings from BetUS...

1: Connecticut Huskies (8-1 ATS, 4-5 SU) (LW: 1) Connecticut really does look like a team that has had it, even though it successfully covered the number against the Bearcats on Saturday. They still have to win two of their L/3 games to assume themselves of a bowl bid. The good news is that there's a bye week on deck, but my, is that trip to Notre Dame going to be difficult in two weeks.

Up Next: Bye

2: Pittsburgh Panthers (6-2 ATS, 8-1 SU) (LW: 3) U-Pitt continues to be that one-loss team that no one is talking about in the Big East. The Panthers rolled over hapless Syracuse without any problems on Saturday afternoon at home, moving them one step closer towards that huge showdown with Cincinnati. Truth be told, victories against Notre Dame, West Virginia, and Cincinnati may not leave them totally out of the National Title chase either, especially with more weeks of carnage certain to come.

Up Next: Home vs. Notre Dame (-7)

3: Cincinnati Bearcats (6-3 ATS, 9-0 SU) (LW: 2) Seemingly everyone else in the Top-25 struggled, and the Bearcats were no exception. The Huskies gave them all that they could handle on Saturday night. We may just be one more upset away from Cincinnati being able to play for the National Championship, but it's going to require winning out first and foremost.

Up Next: Home vs. West Virginia (-9.5)

4: South Florida Bulls (4-3 ATS, 6-2 SU) (LW: 4) USF has four games left in the season, and even though HC Jim Leavitt's team already knows that it is probably going bowling, extra wins aren't going to hurt any. A loss in Piscataway would be awful on national television.

Up Next: Away @ Rutgers (-1.5)

5: Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4-4 ATS, 6-2 SU) (LW: 5) The Scarlet Knights finally got their big win of the season two weeks ago when they came from behind late to knock off the Huskies in Hartford. At least one more victory is necessary to become bowl eligible, but with four very winnable games left on the schedule, that shouldn't be a problem for HC Greg Schiano's boys.

Up Next: Home vs. South Florida (+1)

6: Louisville Cardinals (4-4 ATS, 3-6 SU) (LW: 7) The nightmare season for HC Steve Kragthorpe continued on Saturday afternoon when his Cardinals were beaten 17-9 in Morgantown. The loss all but guaranteed that Louisville won't go bowling yet again this year, and it really should cost Kragthorpe his job when it's all said and done. A loss against the Orange will just be devastating for a program that was a Top-5 team just a few years ago.

Up Next: Home vs. Syracuse (-7)

And the rest…

7: Syracuse Orange (4-5 ATS, 3-6 SU) (LW: 6)

8: West Virginia Mountaineers (2-6 ATS, 7-2 SU) (LW: 8)
