College Football Betting Trends - Best OVER Teams

College Football Betting– ‘Over’ Power Poll
Now that the college football sports betting season is heading into its fourth week of play, check out how BetUS stacks up the best ‘over’ teams in the country to date…
1: California Golden Bears (3-0) (LW: 2) Thanks to RB Jahvid Best’s five touchdowns against Minnesota, the Bears not only picked up another victory, but they rumbled to another win for ‘over’ bettors as well. Another solid ‘over’ squad is on deck this week as Pac-10 play kicks off.
Up Next: Away @ Oregon
2: Auburn Tigers (3-0) (LW: 3) Another week, another strong performance for OC Gus Malzahn’s offense down in Auburn. The Tigers dropped 41 points on a helpless WVU stop unit in their 41-30 victory, but the celebration for ‘over’ bettors may be short-lived. Two teams with lousy offenses are on deck.
Up Next: Home vs. Ball State
3: Maryland Terrapins (3-0) (LW: 9) It’s probably bad news for the Terps that they appear on this list. After getting rolled up for 52 points at Cal, conceding an embarrassing 35 points to James Madison, and allowing 32 in a crushing defeat against Middle Tennessee State last week, how much longer can HC Ralph Friedgen really keep his job?
Up Next: Home vs. Rutgers
4: Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0) (LW: 12) The Tide weren’t caught napping this week against an overmatched North Texas squad. They jumped out to a 30-0 lead in the first half and never looked back, picking up an easy cover and an even easier ‘over’. With a team that just allowed 52 points to Georgia last week on the horizon, HC Nick Saban has to be licking his chops.
Up Next: Home vs. Arkansas
5: West Virginia Mountaineers (2-0) (LW: 15) True to their form of yesteryear, the Mountaineers played in a ridiculous 41-30 game at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night. The loss probably will effectively keep WVU out of the polls for awhile, and was yet another display of disappointment for a team that was just one win at home against an unranked Pitt squad away from playing for a National Championship two years ago.
Up Next: Bye
6: Fresno State Bulldogs (2-0) (LW: NR) For the third straight game this year, the Bulldogs dropped at least 31 points on their opponent, but unfortunately for HC Pat Hill’s squad, they allowed at least 34 for the second straight week as well. Fresno became the first team to solve the riddle of the Boise defense last week, but their 51-34 loss was yet another crippling reminder about how far this team really is to returning to WAC supremacy.
Up Next: Away @ Cincinnati
7: Hawaii Warriors (2-0) (LW: NR) It was just another week of wacky WAC football for the Warriors last week when they ended up losing their game to UNLV in the dying seconds 34-33. Hawaii’s passing attack ranks 3 rd in the NCAA, averaging 419.3 yards per game, so it feels like HC June Jones and QB Colt Brennan never left.
Up Next: Bye
8: Michigan State Spartans (2-0) (LW: NR) Hey HC Mark Dantonio… If your defense doesn’t get any better than this, how do you expect to keep your job? The Spartans allowed 33 points to Notre Dame over the weekend, a week after getting torn up by QB Dan LeFevour and the Chippewas. One has to think that too many more losses will earn the head Spartan a pink slip.
Up Next: Away @ Wisconsin
And the rest…
9: Duke Blue Devils (2-0) (LW: NR)
10: Virginia Cavaliers (2-0) (LW: NR)
11: Houston Cougars (1-0) (LW: 14)
12: East Carolina Pirates (2-0) (LW: NR)
13: TCU Horned Frogs (2-0) (LW: NR)
14: Utah State Aggies (1-0-1) (LW: NR)
15: Arkansas Razorbacks (1-0) (LW: NR)
