College Football Betting - UNDER Power Poll for Week 11

Bookmark and Share by Mike Rose

Even though there have been plenty of offensive fireworks so far in this college football gambling season, not every game has been a barnburner. Check out which teams you should be looking to place ‘under’ bets against the college football point spreads on with BetUS’s NCAA Football ‘under’ power poll this week…

1: Tulsa Golden Hurricane (8-1) (LW: 1) Tulsa finally played in a shootout on Saturday night, but it took Houston coming to town for that to happen. The Golden Hurricane should still be considered a dead nuts 'under' squad until things really start to heat up for it offensively. Unfortunately, time is running out for that to happen.

Up Next: Home vs. East Carolina (51)

2: Oklahoma Sooners (8-1) (LW: 2) QB Landry Jones' five interceptions didn't help Oklahoma's offensive cause in LWs 10-3 loss in Lincoln. The defense did its job against Nebraska's offense, but not finding the end zone usually results in an easy 'under' contest, and this Big XII battle was no exception. Until the oddsmakers really adjust in a big way, the Sooners should still be considered a team on the 'under' watch.

Up Next: Home vs. Texas A&M (55.5)

3: Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-1) (LW: 3) There's a real good gripe for Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh to win the Heisman Trophy this season. He's clearly the best player and the best pro prospect on one of the best defenses in the country. The Black Shirts stepped up big time and forced five interceptions against Oklahoma, picking up one of the biggest wins in recent memory. A string of five straight 'unders' will be tested against the Jayhawks next week.

Up Next: Away @ Kansas (42)

4: Marshall Thundering Herd (7-1) (LW: 4) The Thundering Herd took the week off from their run of seven straight 'unders' last week, and now they turn their attention to Southern Mississippi. A victory on Saturday could propel the Herd right back in the C-USA title race and will let them reach that ever-so-critical six-win barrier.

Up Next: Home vs. Southern Mississippi (49.5)

5: Arizona State Sun Devils (7-1) (LW: 5) That's now seven straight games without scoring at least 28 points for the Sun Devils... They did their job on Saturday though, sticking toe-to-toe with the mighty Trojans. The 14-9 loss will sting and hurt its bowl chances, but at least ASU knows that it can fight with the big boys in the Pac-10.

Up Next: Away @ Oregon (48.5)

6: UCF Knights (6-1-1) (LW: 6) As expected, the Knights marched into Austin last weekend just hoping to not get embarrassed. They lost 35-3 in a dead nuts 'under' game, which also successfully beat the college football betting line, but it never felt like a game that was ever winnable. The biggest game of the year may be on Saturday when the Cougars come to town.

Up Next: Home vs. Houston (64.5)

7: Rutgers Scarlet Knights (6-2) (LW: 8) This week's match-up between the Scarlet Knights and the Bulls will provide quite an interesting situation. While Rutgers is one of the best 'under' teams in the land, USF is one of the best 'over' teams. The biggest question is going to be whether the RU 'D' can stuff up freshman QB BJ Daniels and the Bulls.

Up Next: Home vs. South Florida (45.5)

8: Ohio State Buckeyes (7-2-1) (LW: 11) It was all about the 'D' for the Buckeyes on Sunday afternoon in Happy Valley. Ohio State got a level of revenge on Penn State for last year's upset at the Horseshoe by beating the Nittany Lions 24-7. That victory paired with Iowa's loss puts OSU in a situation where it can go to the Rose Bowl if it wins out. The biggest test may be this weekend.

Up Next: Home vs. Iowa (36)

And the rest…

9: Utah Utes (6-2-1) (LW: 7)
10: Illinois Fighting Illini (6-2-1) (LW: 9)
11: Arkansas State Red Wolves (5-1-1) (LW: NR)
12: Florida Gators (6-2) (LW: 13)
13: LSU Tigers (6-3) (LW: NR)
14: Central Michigan Chippewas (6-3) (LW: NR)
15: Kansas State Wildcats (6-3) (LW: NR)
