College Football Gambling - Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Missouri Tigers
by Mike Rose

Two of the hottest teams for college football bettors to bet on do battle in a critical Big XII showdown between the Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-0, 4-0 ATS) and the Missouri Tigers (5-0, 3-1 ATS). Since the start of last season, Missouri has gone 17-2 SU and 13-4 ATS, while Oklahoma State is 11-4 SU and 9-4 ATS in their L/15.
These two teams haven’t met since 2005. The Tigers hold a 7-2 ATS advantage since 1993. This could be a Big XII conference championship preview, as Missouri ranks #3 in the nation, while Oklahoma State has moved up to #17 in this week’s AP Poll.
Oklahoma State bettors faced a hefty 26-point spread against Texas A&M last weekend. The final stats suggested a much closer game, but five forced turnovers was enough to propel the Cowboys to the 56-28 victory. QB Zac Robinson threw three touchdowns and ran for the other two offensive touchdowns for Okie State. Robinson leads the Cowboys offense, which ranks 2nd in the nation in rushing yards at 314.6 per game and 6th in total yards at 530.2 yards per game.
Since only putting up 39 points against Washington State in their opening game of the season, Oklahoma State has put up at least 55 points in all of their outings. The defense has been suspect the past two weeks, giving up 24 points to Troy and 28 to the Aggies, who had only averaged a shade over 21 points per game going into their match-ups last week.
That should leave QB Chase Daniel and the Tigers licking their chops. For as fantastic as the Cowboys offense has been, Missouri’s has been even better. They average 53.4 points per game, the second best mark in the nation, and are third in both passing yards per game (375.6) and total yards (568.8).
Last week’s victim for Missouri was the Nebraska Cornhuskers. It was a tame game for Daniel, who only threw for 253 yards and three scores against the Black Shirts. WR Jeremy Maclin had another fantastic game, accounting for 160 total yards. It all added up to a 52-17 whitewashing of the Cornhuskers in Lincoln, which saw the Tigers easily cover the 10-point football betting line.
Look for Daniel to put up another big game this weekend, as he hopes to lead his Tigers one step closer to a National Championship and one step closer towards the Heisman Trophy.
Oddsmakers have installed Tigers as 13.5-point favorites in this Big XII clash.
When you’re talking about the Cowboys, you’re talking about the ‘over’. They’re 10-2 towards the ‘over’ in their L/12 games in the month of October and are an even more astounding 31-14 for ‘over’ bettors their L/45 Big XII games.
