College Football Week 5 Rankings - Big 10 Power Poll
by Mike Rose

The Big Ten had a mixed bag of football betting results in the fourth week of CFB wagering. Find out what it all means for your future college football bets with this week’s BetUS Big Ten Power Poll…
1: Iowa Hawkeyes (3-0 ATS, 4-0 SU) (LW: 2) R-E-S-P-E-C-T! It's time for the nation to recognize what a tremendous job that HC Kirk Ferentz has done with the Hawkeyes program. Iowa marched into Happy Valley and upset Penn State to move into the Top-25 for the first time this year. This is a nasty defense, and the equation may be ripe for a trip to Pasadena this year.
Up Next: Home vs. Arkansas State (-20.5)
2: Indiana Hoosiers (3-0 ATS, 3-1 SU) (LW: 3) It may have been Indiana's only loss of the season, but its narrow loss in the Big House against Michigan was proof the Hoosiers are going to be a legitimate threat in the Big Ten all season. The whole Hoosier State will be rocking this weekend when the Buckeyes come to town.
Up Next: Home vs. Ohio State (+16.5)
3: Ohio State Buckeyes (3-1 ATS, 3-1 SU) (LW: 5) Ohio State has seemed to right the ship from its loss to USC earlier this season. The Buckeyes blew away Illinois in a dominant 30-0 victory, the second straight game in which the defense has posted a whitewash. Now, if QB Terrelle Pryor can step it up and keep the offense rolling, OSU is going to be a difficult team to beat this year.
Up Next: Away @ Indiana (-16.5)
4: Purdue Boilermakers (3-1 ATS, 1-3 SU) (LW: 4) The Boilermakers had the Fighting Irish dead to rights but coughed it up in the closing moments for a crushing defeat. All three of these games on this losing streak were winnable, but those "winnable" games need to become victories really soon.
Up Next: Home vs. Northwestern (-6.5)
5: Michigan Wolverines (3-1 ATS, 4-0 SU) (LW: 1) It's hard to push Michigan this far back in the poll, but they really did look terrible for the majority of their game against Indiana. For the first time this year, the Wolverines will have to play away from the Big House when it travels to East Lansing this weekend.
Up Next: Away @ Michigan State (PK)
6: Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-2 ATS, 3-1 SU) (LW: 7) With two road wins already under their belts this season, the Gophers have to be thinking about going bowling in December. Paul Bunyan's Axe will be on the line this week when the Badgers pay their first visit to the Minny’s brand new outdoor stadium. The defense is going to need to come up with a big result to knock off an undefeated Wisconsin squad.
Up Next: Home vs. Wisconsin (-3)
And the rest…
7: Wisconsin Badgers (2-2 ATS, 4-0 SU) (LW: 8)
8: Michigan State Spartans (1-2 ATS, 1-3 SU) (LW: 6)
9: Northwestern Wildcats (0-3 ATS, 2-2 SU) (LW: 9)
10: Illinois Fighting Illini (0-3 ATS, 1-2 SU) (LW: 10)
11: Penn State Nittany Lions (0-4 ATS, 3-1 SU) (LW: 11)
