AFC South Free Picks – Titans Look Unstoppable, Colts Trying To Keep Up

Manning and Colts to Beat Up On Houston
The last time the Texans and Colts met, Sage Rosenfels played like he had bet against his own team. Not that we’re saying Sage Rosenfels is the next coming of a crooked NBA referee, it’s just that Sage is a proven loser. The Texans have always brimmed with talent and potential, but have never been able to fully answer the bell. Despite racking up 23.2 points per game, the defense has allowed a disappointing 28.2 points against. In the process, the Texans have stumbled to a 1-4 ATS record in their last 5 games while going winless in their last five journeys on the road.
Indianapolis has been a horrific bet this season, going 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games at home. I wonder how much they miss their old stadium. The truth is that Houston hasn’t able to beat the Colts in ages, going 1-12 in their last 13 clashes with the Colts. But even with double-digits, the Colts are a strong bet.
After beating their rival Patriots and coming from behind against the Steelers, the Colts are riding a huge wave of confidence. The last time they needed a proving ground, they shattered the vaunted defense of the Baltimore Ravens. The Texans have never had an answer for Manning and the Colts. Don’t expect Sage Rosenfels to be the mastermind that solves the riddle.
NFL Free Pick: Indianapolis -9.5 (UNDER 50.5)
Titans Striking Balance at Perfect Time
The Bears stacked fourteen trillion defenders in the box and finally held Chris Johnson and LenDale White in check. The problem? Kerry Collins made them pay for it. Now it’s not Collins is going to become the second coming of Joe Montana in the second half of the NFL sports betting season, but the Titans have simply found ways to win. And they’re winning big, beating up opponents by a season margin of 11.4 points.
Jacksonville has been nothing short of disappointing to their betting backers. They’re 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games with no sign of momentum coming their way. They’ve won 2-of-5 games SU in the past few weeks and simply look out of sync. The win over Detroit was their first win in double-digits all season, and now they get to come crashing back down to Earth courtesy of Fat Boy and the Titans.
As I’ve been writing for weeks, the football Gods are on the side of the Titans. Don’t go crazy, but until the Titans lose you money this season, do not jump off this bandwagon under any circumstances. A win here will all but seal up the AFC South for the memorable Titans.
NFL Free Pick: Tennessee -5 (UNDER 40)
