NCAAF Betting – Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs

National Championship aspirations are again on the line in this sports betting showdown of Top 10 teams when the Florida Gators (6-1 SU, 5-2 ATS) play the Georgia Bulldogs (7-1 SU, 3-2-2 ATS) in the World’s Largest Outdoor Party this Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville, FL.

Since their stunning home loss to Ole Miss on September 27, the Gators have beaten Arkansas, LSU, and Kentucky by a combined score of 152-33, easily securing three straight wins against the NCAA line. The Bulldogs have also won three straight after their September 27th loss to #2 Alabama.

Florida has certainly not forgotten last year’s 42-30 defeat in Jacksonville and most certainly still has the memory of the entire Georgia team celebrating after its first touchdown in their heads. This Gators defense is a lot better than last year’s version that gave up 188 yards to Knowshon Moreno though, allowing less than 12 PPG so far this season.

QB Tim Tebow is also 100% healthy heading into this game evidenced by his 228 total yard and four touchdown performance against Kentucky last week. RB Jeffrey Demps was also impressive leading the team in rushing with 50 yards and 67 receiving yards to go along with a score.

Due in large part to this offense, college football gamblers who bet games to go over the ‘total’ have seen 11 of the Gators last 15 games go over per the NCAA betting odds. Gator bettors are 1-3-1 ATS the last five meetings when backing Florida against Georgia.

After struggling to get their offense going in their four previous SEC games, the Bulldogs offense fired on all cylinders last Saturday in their 52-38 NCAA wagering win against LSU. Both QB Matt Stafford and RB Knowshon Moreno put up fantastic numbers against a solid LSU defense in the win.

Stafford completed 17-of-26 passes for 249 yards and two passing touchdowns to go along with one rushing score. On the ground, Moreno rolled up 163 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown to pad his SEC leading 925 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the season.

As a team, the Bulldogs have put up an SEC best 431.3 yards per game and are second best in the SEC with 34.3 PPG through eight games. In their last four neutral site games, the Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS against the closing college football gambling line.

Current NCAAF betting trends include the Gators being 9-4 ATS per the college football betting odds in their last 13 SEC games, the Gators have won 15 of the last 18 games between the two teams, and Georgia HC Mark Richt is 34-27-3 ATS against fellow SEC teams during his coaching tenure in Athens.

The NCAA wagering line for this sports betting event has the Gators installed as 5.5-point favorites in the stadium formerly known as the Gator Bowl with a ‘total’ of 56.5.
