For BetUS online sportsbook holiday!

Our holiday starts in August and lasts until the last weekend of January or the first weekend of February when the NFL plays the Super Bowl.

That’s right! Football is back which means it’s high time for us to come out with our Football Power Rankings. This list is all about the BCS Championship where teams from the SEC, Big-10, Big-12 and Pac-10 will battle it out to hoist the crystal football!

Let’s get to the college football betting rankings!

BCS Championship Power Rankings

1. Florida - - online odds + 600 - - The Gators return the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Tim Tebow, as well as an improved defense and a faster offense. They were closer last year than people think. This year they, as always, have a tough schedule, but the ability to navigate the SEC with only one loss means that they will have what it takes to get the job done. This team should scare the daylights out of anybody. I love them to make a huge run for the title and the odds are excellent right now.

2. Ohio State - - online odds + 900 - - If they can beat USC early in the season, then they should waltz through the Big-10 as the number one team in the nation. Illinois has no Rashard Mendenhall this year, and it’s going to take Rich Rodriguez at least a year to get Michigan back to where they were. The Buckeyes should be better and they have to have learned something after receiving pastings from Florida and LSU the past two years, right?

3. Oklahoma - - online odds + 900 - - The Sooners will return to dominance in the Big-12. As my friend Colleen said, she’s a huge Huskers fan, both Kansas and Missouri should fall back to the pack. The Sooners could dominate with Bo Pelini in Nebraska taking a year to get the Huskers back on track. Yes, a Huskers fan just told me that the Sooners have a legitimate shot to win the BCS Championship. Crazy.

4. Georgia - - online odds + 900 - - The Bulldogs will need to be better on the offensive side of the ball, but they can do it. Of course, because they play in the SEC they will have to beat Tennessee, LSU, Auburn and Florida. That makes things more difficult for this team only because Urban Meyer really has that Florida team on their toes this season. I really like this team. If they played in the Big-10, Big-12 or Pac-10, I’d be all over them. But they don’t.

5. USC - - online odds + 300 - - They have a great shot, like they do every year, but the issue with USC has never been whether or not they can win the BCS Championship it’s always been whether or not their online wagering odds make them worth a bet. At + 300 this team is a terrible underlay. They just don’t deserve an online bet at those odds. I’ll keep them in the Top 5 for now until they get upset by somebody like the Arizona Wildcats or Oregon State Beavers.

6. LSU - - online odds + 1200 - - The defending champions will need to do what every SEC team has to do. Just read about Georgia above to find out. Can they repeat? When you play your games in Baton Rouge, then, yes, you can. Will they repeat? Probably not with Florida and Georgia bringing great, not just good, but great teams to this year’s SEC Party. But, LSU deserves mentioning because the online odds are in the double-digits. When was the last time that happened?

7. West Virginia - - online odds + 1600 - - The schedule hasn’t gotten any harder which means the Mountaineers get to waltz around undefeated until they play someone like Rutgers or South Florida. Even then because Pat White still calls the shots at the quarterback position, this team should have no problems making a case for a BCS Championship bid. Will they falter somewhere along the road? Maybe. But if they don’t, those + 1600 online odds will look awfully good, right? So, make a wager on them now.

8. Pittsburgh - - online odds + 8000 - - Two Big East teams in a row? It’s because the conference won’t be that good this season. I like Pitt this year only because Dave Wannstedt might finally have his team in place. He was still a decent NFL coach which means he cold be a great NCAAF coach. Okay, maybe not, but at + 8000 they’re a good stab in the dark.

9. UCLA - - online odds + 6000 - - The defense will be good with Dwayne Walker back as offensive coordinator. If they can find a quarterback, then Rick Neuheisel could put a scare into USC. The odds are perfect. They might not do it, but like Pitt they deserve mentioning as a potential longshot.

10. Notre Dame - - online odds + 6500 - - So, is Charlie Weiss a genius or not? No excuses now as one of the best recruiting classes two years ago should have grown up enough to start playing like it this season. Jimmy Clausen has a year under his belt. Weiss should have found a good running back and that o-line has to be better than it was last year, right? Every single individual working at NBC Universal, NBC has an exclusive contract with Notre Dame football, sure hopes so!
