NFL Power Rankings Week 6
by Al Simmons

Week 5 had a few surprises for NFL betting fans.
The Cardiac Cats got inside the heads of the Ravens and beat them on the last drive of the game. OchoCinco took a big hit from Ray Lewis. That will be on the highlight reels all week long.
Even in the ugliest uniforms ever worn, the Broncos showed everyone they are for real as they beat the New England Patriots in OT. Now is the time to discuss if Orton is a better QB than Jay Cutler.
Here are the NFL Power Rankings Week 6:
1. Indianapolis Colts: Peyton Manning has Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark as weapons, who can stop him?
2. New Orleans Saints: huge game against the Giants coming this week after a bye week.
3. New York Giants: Ahmad Bradshaw was a beast against a poor Raiders D, coming up next is an amped up Saints D.
4. Minnesota Vikings: Favre led Vikings to their 400th franchise win, not bad for a 40 year old...insert Steve Carell joke here.
5. Denver Broncos: do they seem for real to you already or do you need more proof?
6. Cincinnati Bengals: after 5 weeks they lead the AFC north and have a 3-0 record against division rival, they beat the Steelers and Ravens…both Superbowl contenders
7. Baltimore Ravens: Ravens D allowed Cedric Benson 120 rushing yards. The first 100 yard rusher to do it since Larry Johnson in 2006.
8. New York Jets: they shutdown Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Matt Schaub but they Chad Henne and the Miami Wildcat was too much for them. What’s up with that?
9. New England Patriots: Tom Brady is now 1-5 as a starter against the Broncos over his career. Denver is the only team he doesn’t have a winning record against.
10. Pittsburgh Steelers: first road win of the season.
11. Atlanta Falcons: Roddy White and Michael Turner were simply amazing.
12. San Francisco 49ers: they gave up 45 points at home. Unacceptable.
13. Chicago Bears: after a bye week they prepare to handle a powerhouse Falcons offense.
14. Philadelphia Eagles: McNabb and Westbrook are back and everything seems right as rain in Philly.
15. San Diego Chargers: huge Monday Night ahead of them against the Broncos. If they want to think playoffs, this is a must win matchup.
16. Green Bay Packers: they should be back to winning this week as the face the Lions.
17. Arizona Cardinals: This is the only time you will hear this but Cards defense saved the day.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Hasselbeck shines and the Seahawks pulled the third-largest shutout win in Seahawks history.
19. Dallas Cowboys: Miles Austin?
20. Miami Dolphins: a tale of 2 Chad’s as Henne steps up to replace Pennington.
21. Houston Texans: Schaub threw a season high 371 passing yards, but his only INT ended up being the winning TD for Arizona.
22. Jacksonville Jaguars: Star WR Michael Sims-Walker must of done something horrific for being benched. If he had been playing it would of given the rest of the team more room to play.
23. Detroit Lions: Stafford is doubtful to play against Green Bay this week.
24. Carolina Panthers: Carolina scored 18 points in the second half, their best of the season.
25. Cleveland Browns: the Browns won despite QB Derek Anderson having a zero passer rating in the second half and passing for a total of 23 yards in the game.
26. Buffalo Bills: The Bills have lost three straight overall, scoring only 20 points combined in those games.
27. Washington Redskins: the Redskins have now lost to three previously winless teams.
28. Tennessee Titans: Coach Jeff Fisher: “We made our own mess, and we are going to find our way out of it”…doesn’t sound too promising.
29. Oakland Raiders: how much of JaMarcus Russell Raiders fans can take?
30. Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs have lost nine straight games to NFC opponents.
31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Josh Johnson is the eighth different Tampa Bay QB to attempt 50 passes in a game in team history, and the second already this season after Byron Leftwich in week 2. Where is the running game?
32. St. Louis Rams: The Rams have scored just 44 points in their five games this season.
