NFL Rankings - Week 8 NFC Power Poll
by Mike Rose

BetUS Sportsbook has all of the NFL power rankings you need to help you with your football betting in the NFC!
1: New Orleans Saints (6-0 ATS, 6-0 SU) (LW: 1) My, what a second half the Saints had on Sunday! They cruised past the Fins with a 36-14 second stanza and stole a cover right at the end with a pick six. As the only undefeated team left standing in the NFC, everyone will be gunning for QB Drew Brees and company.
Up Next: Home vs. Falcons (-9.5)
2: San Francisco 49ers (4-1-1 ATS, 3-3 SU) (LW: 4) The Niners move up in the power poll this week with a push because of the struggles of the rest of the squads in the conference. QB Alex Smith is going to get the nod under center this week after leading San Fran back from a 21-0 deficit to at least salvage a push for its football bettors. WR Michael Crabtree will need to give this 'O' a jolt in a hurry, or the 49ers will be watching the playoffs from the couch.
Up Next: Away @ Colts (+11)
3: Philadelphia Eagles (4-2 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 6) The Eagles recovered from their embarrassing loss in Oakland two weeks ago by beating up a hapless Washington squad on Monday night. After the offensive meltdown against the Raiders, Philly looked like its old self, hanging 21+ points for the fifth time in six games this year.
Up Next: Home vs. Giants (-3)
4: Arizona Cardinals (4-2 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 7) The Cardinals are starting to look like the team that caught fire last season and rolled all the way to the Super Bowl. They shocked the G-Men in the Meadowlands on Sunday night 24-17 for their third straight cover. For the first time since October 11th, they'll play in the desert on Sunday against Carolina.
Up Next: Home vs. Panthers (-9.5)
5: Green Bay Packers (4-2 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 8) There were some rough moments at the beginning of the game, but RB Ryan Grant and QB Aaron Rodgers weren't going to let the Packers struggle against the lowly Browns on Sunday afternoon. Green Bay's L/3 wins are against St. Louis, Detroit, and Cleveland, so there isn't much room for boasting, but a victory at home against QB Brett Favre and the Vikes next week will ultimately propel it into a first place tie in the NFC North.
Up Next: Home vs. Vikings (+3)
6: New York Giants (4-2-1 ATS, 5-2 SU) (LW: 2) All of a sudden, the Giants look mortal. Their early-season schedule was filled with duds like Washington, Tampa Bay, Kansas City, and Oakland, and now that they've faced some tough teams like New Orleans and Arizona, they've folded under pressure. Will the tide turn this week in the City of Brotherly Love?
Up Next: Away @ Eagles (+3)
7: Atlanta Falcons (4-2 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 3) The Falcons hung with the Cowboys for almost three full quarters, but the wheels fell off at the end, and the final score ended up reflecting a bad loss. All will be forgotten next week in the Bayou if Atlanta can knock off the only unbeaten left standing in the conference.
Up Next: Away @ Saints (+9.5)
8: Minnesota Vikings (4-3 ATS, 6-1 SU) (LW: 5) Maybe this team isn't blessed after all. The Vikes very well could've gone into Pittsburgh and knocked off the Steelers, but a pair of turnovers that directly resulted in Steelers' TDs were crippling. Minnesota should've covered the spread with ease, but for the second straight week, it choked under pressure. Is this a sign of things to come?
Up Next: Away @ Packers (+3)
And the rest…
9: Dallas Cowboys (3-3 ATS, 4-2 SU) (LW: 10)
10: Chicago Bears (3-3 ATS, 3-3 SU) (LW: 9)
11: Detroit Lions (2-4 ATS, 1-5 SU) (LW: 12)
12: Seattle Seahawks (2-4 ATS, 2-4 SU) (LW: 10)
13: St. Louis Rams (2-5 ATS, 0-7 SU) (LW: 11)
14: Washington Redskins (2-5 ATS, 2-5 SU) (LW: 14)
15: Carolina Panthers (1-5 ATS, 2-4 SU) (LW: 15)
16: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-6 ATS, 0-7 SU) (LW: 16)
