Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers 1:00 ET

Staring a 13-10 deficit heading into the 4th quarter, the Panthers looked to be well on their way towards dropping their third home game of the season and drastically falling behind in the NFC South race.

  1 2 3 4 FINAL
ATLANTA 0 0 10 3 13
CAROLINA 7 3 0 14 24

That’s when CAR picked it up on both sides of the ball to pick up the season saving home win and cover against the closing BetUS NFL pointspread. RB DeAngelo Williams plowed into the end zone to get the home team in front of the spread for the first time in the game, and then SS Chris Harris slammed the final nail in Atlanta’s coffin when he pick-sixed ATL QB Matt Ryan ultimately sending Bank of America Stadium into a frenzy that lasted throughout the final 3+ minutes of game action. Carolina choked handing NO their first loss of the season last week, but came up with a huge outright win to even up the season series with the Falcons in Week 10.

Take Carolina (+1.5) -110 and Under 44.5 –110.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals 4:15 ET

  1 2 3 4 FINAL
SEATTLE 10 7 0 0 17
ARIZONA 7 0 10 14 31

The Cardinals have proven to be two different teams at home and on the road this season. They’re a stellar 4-0 SU & ATS as a visitor, but shockingly just 1-3 SU & ATS at home in ’09. They looked to be playing to that same script throughout the first 30 minutes of play against a Seattle team they dominated just short of a month ago, but HC Ken Whisenhunt must’ve come up with one heck of a halftime speech because the defending NFC Champs came out like gangbusters in the second half. The defense limited the Seahawks to just 98 overall yards and forced four turnovers en route to securing their second NFL betting home win and cover of the season. QB Kurt Warner threw three second half TDs, two to WR Larry Fitzgerald, and when it was all said and done, AZ outgained SEA by 120 yards and held onto the ball nearly 10 minutes more.

Take Arizona (-8.5) -110 and Over 47.5 –110.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Diego Chargers 4:15 ET

  1 2 3 4 FINAL
PHILADELPHIA 10 7 0 10 27
SAN DIEGO 7 0 10 7 24

The Chargers picked up a last minute win against the Giants in the Meadowlands last week in what surely was a sweet win for QB Phillip Rivers. After taking care of division rivals Oakland and Kansas City then beating NY last week, SD entered this NFC/AFC football gambling battle with the Eagles on a three-game winning streak. That said; the Eagles came in off a tough SNF loss to the Cowboys and weren’t in the mood to play any games and stormed out to a 17-7 at the break. SD posted 10 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter to knot the game up at 17 in the final quarter of play. Both clubs scored TDs in the final stanza, but it was Philly that made good on yet another bonehead turnover by Rivers who got picked at SD’s own 32-yard line with just over 3 minutes in the game. Without any TO’s, SD was at the mercy of PHI as they milked the clock all the way down to 17 seconds when K David Akers nailed the game winning FG. The battle was evenly matched as SD held a 394-392 offensive yardage advantage, but the lone turnover decided the games ultimate victor.

Take Philadelphia (+2) -110 and Over 46.5 –110.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers 4:15 ET

  1 2 3 4 FINAL
DALLAS 7 6 7 7 27
GREEN BAY 10 6 3 6 25

What an incredible pro football betting battle on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field! Both QB’s Tony Romo and Aaron Rodgers seemingly had their way with both teams combining for over 1050 yards of total offense. Romo threw for 298 yards and a pair of scores with an INT, while Rodgers countered with 275 yards and 2 TDs. RB’s Marion Barber and Ryan Grant were relatively held in check (77 and 82 yards respectively), but neither defense could do anything to stop either offense through the air. But in the end, it all came down to a failed two-point conversion that allowed the Cowboys to escape Green Bay with their third straight road victory. After Rodgers hooked up with FB John Kuhn on a 7-yard play-action pass for a score, the Packers got too cute on their two-point conversion and lost the game because of it. The loss dropped the Packers to under .500 at home, which can only leave one to imagine what the airwaves will sound like throughout the next week leading up to Sunday’s game with the 49ers. Though they lost, they just got the cover by the hook.

Take Green Bay (+3) -120 and Over 47.5 –110.

New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts 8:20 ET

  1 2 3 4 FINAL
NEW ENGLAND 7 7 7 7 28
INDIANAPOLIS 3 3 3 15 24

The Patriots and Colts have played in a number of fantastic NFL BetUS betting match-ups through the years, and Sunday night’s battle was no different. All the drama didn’t occur until the final quarter of the game as the Patriots dominated the Colts throughout the first 45 minutes of the games action. QB Tom Brady threw for 200+ yards during that stretch, but only had one TD pass to show for it. Instead, NE surprisingly got the job done on the ground with RBs Laurence Maroney and Kevin Faulk toting the rock. NE took a 21-9 lead into the 4th quarter, but then QB Peyton Manning blew up throwing TD passes to TE Dallas Clark and WR Reggie Wayne in a five minute span. After they successfully converted the 2-point conversion, the Colts held a 24-21 lead with just under four minutes remaining in the game. It proved to be too much time as Brady navigated the Pats offense right down the field and got to the Colts 27-yard line with 30 ticks left. Instead of trying to make K Gostkowski’s kick a bit closer, the Pats decided to take a shot at the end zone, and needless to say, it paid off. WR Randy Moss split a pair of Colts defenders and grabbed the pigskin at its highest point and fell to the ground in the end zone with the ball secured. He was mobbed by his teammates all the way back to the sideline as the Pats picked up the last second win, and in the process, finally handed the Colts a loss.

Take New England (+3) -120 and Over 49.5 –110.
