Re: BetUS Week 11 NFL Rankings

Hi guys, I enjoyed listening to BetUS.com Radio on Wednesday and Matthew trying to defend these NFL rankings, but some just make NO sense.

Having New England as the #7 team in the league is absolutely wrong. They barely beat Miami who you have as #24, they get smoked at home by both Indy and San Diego (who you have #11?) and were getting crushed by Denver until garbage time. The only way New England can win a quality game is if they outgun their opponents and their defense gets lucky. If teams watch what Indy and Miami did the last few weeks with the long ball, all future New England games will be over by halftime IF the opponents can throw the ball 20-30 yards at a time. The Jets look to be the only team left on their schedule incapable of doing that.

Tampa Bay 12th? How can you give a team that struggles against San Francisco and the Jets this much respect. Until they deliver on the field, they don’t deserve this much credit.

Chicago 14th? Ahead of Washington who beat them? And with wins against no one any good, tough to reward good defense this much….especially when the offense barely scores.

Buffalo 15th? The AFC East is the worst division. Out of 32 teams, Buffalo should be moved down towards Miami’s ranking of 24. Both equally bad, just not CURRENTLY as bad as the Jets who should now be 28-30….see below

San Francisco 31st? They beat both St. Louis and Tampa Bay. Quality wins should allow for a better than 2nd to last ranking. I understand Arizona beat them but if you are going to inflate the rankings of some of the teams higher on the list and give them a pass for an “off week versus a weak opponent” then give San Francisco the benefit of the doubt for losing in Mexico.

Playing out the string. NY Jets/New Orleans/Cleveland/Green Bay/Tennessee/Houston/Arizona/ 26/27/28/29/30/31/32…..order doesn’t matter this far down as they will all finish as the worst 6 teams…….  Prop bet anyone?
