AFC South Struggles – Jacksonville vs. Tennessee

No two teams have let down their betting faithful more than the Jaguars and Titans. Sure, there’s a bunch of bad cellar dwellers in the NFL betting circles, but a bunch of those teams were expected to be bad. The Jaguars and Titans are just 4-8 ATS combined and this game is about as confusing as it gets.

Both teams have had a chance to tinker with their stunted offenses over the bye week, but the trends don’t seem to give us any clue as to how to grade this game. Even the oddsmakers threw up their hands at just gave the standard home line in this game. Jacksonville is a lowly 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games, 2-4 ATS on the road and 2-4 ATS/SU against Tennessee. In Nashville, they’re a terrible 3-7 ATS in 10 visits.

Tennessee isn’t much better this season, but they’ve found some success against Jacksonville in the past. The question is whether this team has given up on their coach for the season. A bye week hasn’t produced much news or optimism.

Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) vs. Tennessee Titans (0-6)

Sunday, November 1st --- LP Field, Nashville --- 4:05pm EST

NFL Betting Line: Tennessee -3 (44.5)

If I know anything, it’s that this game is going in the UNDER. When a TOTAL that high, you have to think about who’s getting the points. Tennessee allows 333.0 yards through the air at home, and MoJo will be unleashed as an option out of the backfield with his steady set of hands and genius ankles.

On the other end of the field, Chris Johnson is about to have a field day against a defense which allows 380.0 yards overall. I don’t like either team to be honest, so just take the O/U and be happy that you did.
