HOT

Mike Anderson & Tatum Bell, Broncos--Anderson rushed for 126 yards with a score and Bell had 107 yards rushing with two scores on Philly, HOT.

Joe Nedney, Niners--Nedney is a kicker and kickers usually don't make our list unless they stink the place up. But Nedney was the only offense the Niners had and without his five field goals, they lose. So he makes the list.

Joey Galloway, Bucs-Galloway had 149 yards receiving with a score vs the Niners. Where was the rest of the offense?

Ronnie Brown, Dolphins--Brown rushed for 106 yards on the Saints. Good job by the rookie.

Kevan Barlow, Niners--Barlow rushed for 101 yards on the Bucs. Good enough to make the list.

Jake Delhomme, Panthers--Jake threw for 341 yards with three touchdown passes vs the Vikes. Thats really hot.

Tiki Barber, Giants--Barber had 206 yards with a score on the Skins. Very Hot.

Drew Brees, Chargers--Brees had 324 yards passing with three touchdown passes on the Chiefs. Big day.

our expert Kennison, Chiefs-- Kennsion had 115 yards receiving with a score vs the Bolts. Not enough.

Antonio Gates, Chargers--Gates had 145 yards receiving with three touchdown passes vs the Chiefs. He is quickly becoming the best at the position.

Trent Green, Chiefs--Green passed for 347 yards with two touchdown passes. It wasn't enough.

Jake Plummer, Broncos-Plummer had 309 yards passing with four touchdown passes. Very hot.

Terrell Owens, Eagles--Owens had 154 yards receiving with one score on Denver. Nowhere near enough.

Jerry Porter, Raiders--Porter had 123 yards receiving with two scores. Moss is ailing and Porter stepped up.

Steve Smith, Panthers--Smith had 201 yards receiving with a touchdown against Minnesota. T. O. who?

Marion Barber, Cowboys--The rookie rushed for 127 yards with two touchdowns. He is the rookie of the week on offense.

Fred Taylor, Jaguars--Taylor rushed for 165 yards with a score. And he is hurting?

Steve Jackson, Rams--Jackson had 179 yards rushing and 21 yards receiving with a score. Big day.

Kevin Curtis, Rams--Curtis had 105 yards receiving which helped without Bruce and Holt.

Earnest Wilford, Jaguars--Wilford had 145 yards receiving with a score. A sleeper here?

Anthony Henry, Cowboys--Henry returned a pick 58 yards for a touchdown. Defense scores, you make the list.

Charles Tillman, Bears--Tillman returned a pick 22 yards for the winning score in OT vs the Lions. That is definitely hot.

Bert Berry, Cards-- Berry had 2.5 sacks and a  fumble recovery. Great work.

Jarrod Cooper, Raiders-- A fumble recovery for a score helped the Raiders  defense immensely vs Tennessee.

Reynaldo Hill, Titans-- Hill returned a Kerry Collins gift 52 yards for a touchdown. Nice pick.

Brandon Chillar, Rams--Chillar returned a blocked punt 29 yards for a score. That makes the list.

Warren Sapp, Raiders--He may not be what he once was, but he had 2.5 sacks and forced a fumble that resulted in an Oakland score. Good enough.

You Make the Call--

Jamie Martin, Rams--The Rams won but Martin threw three picks. You make the call .

NOT

Philadelphia Eagles Defense--The Eagles allowed 255 yards rushing, over 560 yards of total offense and 49 points to the Denver Broncos. That is North Pole type cold.

Brett Favre, Packers--Favre threw five picks against the Bengals. No line, no running backs and thin at receiver can create problems for even the best.

Mike Williams, Lions--Williams had nearly as many drops as receptions vs the Bears. Not what the staff wants to see from a high round draft pick.

Mark Brunnell, Skins--He had 65 yards passing with a pick. Pretty bad.

Clinton Portis, Skins--Four carries for nine yards. Not good.

Browns & Texans--Neither team had a runner go over 100 yards, a receiver go over 100 yards or a quarterback pass for over 200 yards. How boring is that?

New Orleans Saints--The Saints only offense vs Miami was kicker John Carney. That is pretty lame.

Boston College--BC laid a real egg in their nationally televised game with Virginia Tech. Getting it handed to you on national television is the definition of not performing.
