NFL Week 17 Betting - OVER Power Poll

Bookmark and Share by Mike Rose

BetUS Sportsbook presents this week's NFL power rankings for which teams that NFL handicapping experts have been making money on with 'overs' so far this season...

1: New York Giants (10-4-1) (LW: 1) The Giants took a major night off last Sunday against the Panthers and it ultimately cost them their season. However, the 41 points allowed was more than enough to keep the G-Men in the top spot of the NFL power rankings for 'over' bettors heading into the final week of the regular season.

Up Next: Away @ Vikings (48)

2: Philadelphia Eagles (10-5) (LW: 3) A back and forth battle with the Broncos easily provided NFL handicapping fans another 'W' for the 'over' in a Philly game. Will the same be said this weekend in the battle for the NFC East?

Up Next: Away @ Cowboys (47.5)

3: San Diego Chargers (9-5-1) (LW: 4) San Diego laid the smack down on the Titans and effectively ended their season on Christmas night. 'Over' bettors rejoiced that night, but things may be a lot harder for them with the Bolts have nothing to play for against a team that has already given up in Week 17.

Up Next: Home vs. Redskins (38.5)

4: Kansas City Chiefs (8-5-2) (LW: 2) The Chiefs fought hard with the Bengals on Sunday, but ultimately didn't put together enough offense for an SU victory or an 'over'. The rest of the teams in the AFC will be wearing lots of red and gold on Sunday when KC tries to spoil the party for Denver.

Up Next: Away @ Broncos (38)

5: Miami Dolphins (8-6-1) (LW: 5) It was admirable for the Fins to claw back from a 27-0 hole to get back within a TD, but both Miami bettors and 'over' fans would've hoped for just one more score. A push was the end result. The Dolphins can still make the playoffs, but it's going to take a win and a heck of a lot of help.

Up Next: Home vs. Steelers (46.5)

6: Pittsburgh Steelers (8-6-1) (LW: 6) The Baltimore/Pittsburgh game was a complete wash for all bettors involved, as the final numbers on both side and 'total' were pushed. It was good enough to keep the Steelers in the teeth of the playoff battle, but three other teams need to lose for them to get in the playoffs to defend their crown.

Up Next: Away @ Dolphins (46.5)

7: Washington Redskins (8-7) (LW: 7) It's normally not easy to produce an 'over' game when you're getting shut out. The Skins found that out the hard way in a 17-0 loss in HC Jim Zorn's final home game as Washington’s coach. The trip out west shouldn't be a fun one in Week 17.

Up Next: Away @ Chargers (38.5)

8: Green Bay Packers (8-7) (LW: NR) Look out for Green Bay come playoff time. This is arguably the hottest team in the NFL, going 6-0-1 ATS in its L/7 games, and a lot of it is because of an incredibly efficient offense. QB Aaron Rodgers became the first man in NFL history to throw for at least 4,000 yards in his first two years as a starting quarterback. The 'overs' may keep pouring in deep into January.

Up Next: Away @ Cardinals (43.5)
