THE OVERVIEW

Overall W 7 - L 3

Last Week W 2 – L1

Well, we have passed the ? mark for all teams and what an exciting week in the NFL again!!! We were 2-1 here last week. Last week just goes to show you that there is never a sure bet in this league and that’s why you really have to look at trends and analyze games. Just a few examples, Cardinals, Texans, Chiefs, Chargers all winners last week…Lets take a look at what parity brings us this week 5 in the NFL.

Week Five

Rams +7 Vs Seahawks

This is still a very heated rivalry and it doesn’t seem to matter if one is playing bad and the other not. However, doesn’t this Ram team still have Holt, Bruce, Bulger, Faulk and Orlando Pace? Did these Seahawks pick up Johnny U, Eric D and Don Maynard? I don’t think so and therefore I don’t see the 7-point spread in this game.

Take the Rams +7

Lions +6 Vs the Falcons

The 4-0 Falcons against the 3-1 Lions…Is that written correctly.? Yes it is and this will be an exciting football game. The Lions are coming off a bye week and should be well rested. They haven’t lost much with Charles Rogers going down because Roy Williams has emerged as the go to guy. On the other side of the ball Michael Vick is playing very well and living up to all the hype. However, I am a dog this weekend and I say that this line is too big.

Take the Lions +6

Steelers -6 Vs Browns

Two words here Big Ben. I said that Ben would be QB early and the question now is will Tommy Maddox ever see the field again as the starting QB for these Pittsburgh Steelers? Here Ben will have another shot at home this time against the rival browns who have plenty of trouble of their own. For you Fantasy owners out there Duece is running loose but the Bus is making stops in the endzone..What a dilemma.

Take the Steelers and lay the 6.
