NFL Fantasy Football Week 12 Start Em Sit Em
by Al Simmons

Chances in the NFL world can translate into success in the fantasy football world. For example how many chances does your RB get to run the ball or how many times is your WR targeted.
A running back may have only ran for 60 yards on 20 carries, but you have to take into account how many penalties were called on log runs that negated the yards and how often didn’t the linemen open up holes for the runners that they were supposed to.
While a wide receiver may have caught only four passes in a given week, his target total might have been double or triple that. Those targets may not have translated into catches one week, but they may in the future.
NFL Fantasy Football Week 12 Start Em and Sit Em:
Start Em
QB
Phillip Rivers vs. Kansas City: The Chiefs are among the NFL's worst teams against the pass and despite Rivers not having a big performance against the Broncos last week, he still is a must start for this week.
Brett Favre vs. Chicago: Sitting Brett Favre after the way he has been playing is crazy talk. Chicago is fifth against the pass in the league but they tend to allow big plays.
RB
Ricky Williams vs. Buffalo: the Bills D has allowed more fantasy point to opposing RBs than any other team. With Brown out Williams will have more attempts.
Jason Snelling vs. Tampa Bay: Michael Turner is day by day with a high ankle sprain and will be a game time decision if he plays or not. If he doesn’t Snelling will be a good option after putting 20 fantasy points last week against the Giants. Even if Turner plays don’t expect him to get a full load against a weak Bucs team. Also Jerious Norwood had a strong week of practice, so expect him to pinch a couple of carries.
WR
Sidney Rice and Percy Harvin vs. Chicago: They are both Brett Favre Favorite targets and both are playmakers. Keep in mind Chicago’s D allows big plays thru the air.
Larry Fitzgerald vs. Tennessee: Fitzgerald scored a touchdown for a third straight game last week and knows he faces the second worst passing defense in the NFL.
Vincent Jackson vs. Kansas City: Jackson is coming off two poor performances but he could be due for a rebound against the Chiefs. He remains Philip Rivers' favorite receiving target.

QB
Donovan McNabb vs. Washington: He threw one touchdown pass and no picks when these two met on week 7. However McNabb has been off this month and the Skins passing D remain the best one in the NFL.
Joe Flacco vs. Pittsburgh: this will be a close hard hitting game with good quality defenses. Flacco won’t put huge numbers.
RB
Matt Forte vs. Minnesota: How do you say Fantasy Bust in 2009? “Matt Forte.”
WR
Braylon Edwards vs. Carolina: he has been off since his first game dressed as a Jet and the Panthers have the thirds passing defense against in the entire league.
