Tennessee (+4) vs. San Francisco (-4)

O/U (41)

Sunday, November 8 4:15 PM ET

The San Francisco 49ers (3-4 SU, 5-1-1 ATS, 3-4 ATS), who will be looking to snap a three-game skid, when the two teams take to the gridiron at Candlestick Park on Sunday at 4:15 PM ET.

The Titans laid a 30-13 smackdown on the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday to cover the game’s NFL point spread as a 3-point home favorite while the game’s final score played Under the 44-point O/U total.

Speedy running back Chris Johnson rushed for a whopping 228 yards with two touchdowns on 24 carries for Tennessee while Vince Young passed for 125 yards with one score in the rout.

The 49ers narrowly lost to Indianapolis Colts 18-14 in Week 8, but covered the NFL point spread as a 13-point road underdog in the BetUS NFL sports book just I predicted while the game’s 32 total points played Under the 40.5-point O/U total.

Frank Gore rushed 13 times for 91 yards and a touchdown while quarterback Alex Smith passed for 198 yards with one touchdown and an interception for Frisco in the loss.

Here is a look at this game’s key trends and NFL Betting Odds, followed by my in-depth analysis and expert NFL Picks.

  • Titans are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following a S.U. win.
  • Titans are 7-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
  • Titans are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games.

  • 49ers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.
  • Over is 4-1 in Titans last 5 vs. a team with a losing record.
  • Under is 5-1 in 49ers last 6 games following a S.U. loss.

NFL Odds

  • San Francisco 49ers -4 Points
  • Over/Under 41 Points

Analysis: The Titans may have won their first game of the season last week (as predicted) while recording some surprising ATS stats coming into this contest, but I like the San Francisco 49ers to cover the spread and pick up a much-needed win after falling just short against Houston and Indianapolis in each of the last two weeks.

While the Titans have gone an impressive11-4 ATS in their last 15 games following an SU win and 7-3 ATS versus a team with a losing record, Tennessee has also gone a disappointing 1-5 ATS in their last six road games and will be facing a Niners team that has gone 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games following an SU loss, 4-1-1 ATS in their last six home games and a consistent 5-1-2 ATS in their last eight  games overall.

Take the Niners here to cover the spread and get back in the win column for no-nonsense head coach Mike Singletary.

MY NFL Expert Pick: San Francisco -4 Points
