1             1                   Chargers          Clearly, they are the best team top to bottom in the league. Let’s see if coach Marty can finally break through in the postseason.

2             2                   Bears               We don’t care what they say about that second half collapse against the Bucs. Chicago showed moxie pulling it out and we think they are the best that the NFC has to offer.

3             4                   Colts                Now that’s the Colts we know! Indy was awesome against the Bengals and that win will probably propel them to a nice finish to the season.

4             3                   Ravens             You knew the health of Steve McNair would come into play at some point in the season and now it has. Baltimore should have pulled away from Cleveland much easier.

5             7                   Cowboys         It’s hard to dispute what they’ve done over the last couple of months. Indeed, as long as the defense holds up and Romo is good, they can beat anyone.

6             9                   Patriots Another team that got back on track last week. Granted, they played a terrible club and Brady only threw for 105 yards. Still, they are dangerous and a team that could go a long way.

7             5                   Saints               Was that loss to Washington a blip on the radar or something to be alarmed about? We say a blip. The Saints had their chances, they just didn’t capitalize.

8             12                 Eagles              Perhaps no team is as mentally tough as the Eagles right now. Their style can win at home or on the road- provided Garcia keeps playing like his vintage self, of course.

9             8                   Jaguars             Well, if it’s any consolation, the Jags did dominate the play last week in Tennessee. If they beat New England this week, all’s forgotten.

10           6                   Bengals            Sure, they lost, but they lost to a good team. If Carson Palmer can bounce back, then they will be fine.

11           10                 Seahawks         Can someone explain this team to me?

12           -                    Broncos           Jay Cutler has arrived. But his next test is against the hungry Bengals. A loss and they are out. A win and Cutler is king in Colorado.
