Oakland Committed To Losing To Dolphins

Javon Walker needs screws in his ankle. DeAngelo Hall has bolted for Washington. Darren McFadden has turf toe on both feet. Now Andrew Walters is testing JaMarcus Russell for playing time. Can it get worse for the Joke-land Raiders?

Well…yeah! The Dolphins come to town with a stunningly potent offense that is averaging 350.3 total yards from scrimmage with Ronnie Brown and Chad Pennington coming back to life. The Raiders are notoriously bad on defense, and Ricky Williams and Ronnie will have plenty of room to open up this offense and punish Oakland.

With zero playmakers on offense, Tom Cable Guy has his work cut out for him. If he can somehow muster a victory out of these low lives, it will be nothing short of a miracle. Too bad for Oakland that Christmas isn’t here yet.

NFL Free Pick: Miami -10 (UNDER 38.5)

Giants Looks For First Win Over Baltimore

Neither team has lost in a month, and both teams are finding balance in every facet of the game. For Baltimore, the emergence of Ray Rice and Joe Flacco has remedied the offensive maladies of a Baltimore team that has never enjoyed a consistent offensive game. Baltimore has averaged 23.6 points per game, while the defense does it’s job and holds teams off with 16.7 points allowed on average.

If the defense wants to be taken seriously, the Ravens will have to contend with Eli Manning and one of the best offensive units in the game. The offensive line for New York looks unbeatable. Seriously. With three tailbacks running the ball, New York has averaged a top ranked 167.1 rushing yards per game. With Eli dissecting a talented Baltimore defense at home in the Meadowlands, it’s going to be a draining day for the always talented Baltimore D.

The trick for Baltimore will be making the most of their opportunities. New York is a ball hog, averaging one of the best time of possessions in the league. Joe Flacco has shown big play ability this season, but it’s going to take a miracle for the Ravens to overcome a 4-9 ATS record in their last 13 games.

NFL Free Pick: NYG -7 (OVER 40)

Eagles Desperate For A Bounce Back Game

Poor Cincinnati. They managed to squeeze out a victory against Jacksonville, and now they have to face the Eagles who are coming off a massive letdown against the Giants. Now they have a 9-point handicap to cover against one of the league’s worst teams. If Philly has proven anything this season, it’s that it kills bad teams. Cincinnati is bad. Don’t get blinded by Ocho Cinco and the talent in Cincy. They’re awful.

NFL Free Pick: Philadelphia -9 (UNDER 41)

Green Bay Ready To Victimize Rex Grossman

Green Bay is coming off two heart breaking losses to Tennessee and Minnesota. Can we expect the Bears to do the same against Aaron Rodgers? Certainly not. It’s not that the Bears will have trouble stopping the talented Packers offense, it’s that their own offense wont’ be able to rev the engine against the twelfth best home defense in the league. The Packers give up only 196.8 yards through the air per game when at home. It’ll be a long day for Rex Grossman. It’ll be a longer day for you if you’re dumb enough to take the Bears in this match.

NFL Free Pick: Green Bay -4 (UNDER 43.5)
