NFL Expert Picks Week 11

The running back Larry Johnson on Tuesday. But even with Cedric Benson hurt, Johnson is 3rd on the depth chart behind Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard so he likely isn't going to get much work with his new team, but provides some veteran insurance if injuries hit at the running back spot.

Not only did Kansas City Chiefs lose Larry Johnson, but they will be without receiver Dwayne Bowe for the next four games. He was suspended four games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. Apparently, Bowe used some sort of diuretic to lose weight during training camp. This is why the Chiefs picked up Chris Chambers off of waivers.

The Bills fired head coach Dick Jauron on Tuesday. He will be replaced by defensive coordinator Perry Fewell for the rest of the season. Jauron’s last memory of being head coach will be of Titan’s owner Bud Allen flipping him off.

Baltimore finally made a move at kicker, letting go Steven Hauschka, who has missed three field-goal attempts the last four games. The Ravens signed Billy Cundiff to take over the kicking duties. Wonder if they are regretting letting Matt Stover go?

Now on to my picks for NFL week 11:

Indianapolis 9-0 (Road: 4-0) 1:00pm ET
Baltimore
5-4 (Home: 3-1) TV: CBS

Beating Indy is not an easy task and Baltimore hasn´t looked good over the last month. The Ravens defense is going to have trouble handling Manning and the rest of the Colts.

Indianapolis Colts -1
Baltimore Ravens +1
O /U 44

My pick: the Colts.

San Francisco 4-5 (Road: 1-3) 1:00pm ET
Green Bay 5-4 (Home: 3-2) TV: FOX

The Packers can move the ball plus they have their momentum on their side. This was a rivalry game in the 90’s but those times are over. San Fran should have some issues with the weather in Lambeau Field.

San Francisco 46ers +6
Green Bay Packers -6
O /U 41

My pick: Packers.

Atlanta 5-4 (Road: 1-4) 1:00pm ET
NY Giants 5-4 (Home: 2-2) TV: FOX

Two weeks to prepare should be enough for the Giants to step up and start winning. And Falcons QB has been making too many mistakes over the last few weeks.

Atlanta Falcons +6
NY Giants -6
O /U 41

My pick: Giants.

Cleveland 1-8 (Road: 1-4) 1:00pm ET
Detroit 1-8 (Home: 1-3) TV: CBS

Despite both teams have horrible records this could be a fun game to watch. Expect the Lions to roll over the Browns at home.

Cleveland Browns +3
Detroit Lions - 6
O /U 41

My pick: Lions

Washington 3-6 (Road: 0-4) 1:00pm ET
Dallas 6-3 (Home: 3-1) TV: FOX

Rivalry game right here. Don´t be fooled by the Redskins win over the Broncos. The Cowboys shouldn’t have any trouble handling the Skins this week.

Washington Redskins +11
Dallas Cowboys -11
O /U 41

My pick: The Cowboys.

Seattle 3-6 (Road: 0-4) 1:00pm ET
Minnesota 8-1 (Home: 4-0) TV: FOX

Seattle can´t stop any big offensive units. The Vikings have one of the most powerful offenses in the league thru air and over the ground.

Seattle Seahawks +11
Minnesota Vikings -11
O /U 41

My pick: Vikings.

NY Jets 4-5 (Road: 2-2) 4:15pm ET
New England 6-3 (Home: 5-0) TV: CBS

Bill Belichick will be out for blood this week. Not only after last week’s humiliating loss but because of how the Jet’s beat the Pats earlier this season. Expect New England’s defense to have a monster game after Belichick snubbed them and went for it on 4 and 2 at the end of last week’s game.

NY Jets +10
New England Patriots -10
O /U 45

My pick: The Patriots.

Philadelphia 5-4 (Road: 2-2) 8:20pm ET
Chicago 4-5 (Home: 3-1) TV: NBC

Jay Cutler is having and on and off season, he has been a rollercoaster and this Eagles D will take advantage of that on national TV.

Philadelphia Eagles -3
Chicago Bears +3
O /U 45

My pick: Eagles.

Monday Night

Tennessee 3-6 (Road: 1-4) 8:30pm ET
Houston 5-4 (Home: 2-2) TV: ESPN

The Titans trust Vince Young to manage the game and Chris Johnson to handle the big plays. Houston may not be prepared even after their bye week.

Tennessee Titans +3
Houston Texans -3
O /U 48
