NFL Monday: Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills Moneyline & Odds

Bookmark and Share by D.S. Williamson

This Monday’s NFL game has to be considered a bit of a let down as the Buffalo Bills are starting to fall apart.

Neither one of these teams has a legitimate shot at doing anything in the AFC Conference playoffs. Yes, sports betting fans will point out that the Buffalo Bills are 5 and 4 on the season. That makes them a legitimate contender for the AFC East crown even though their real chances of beating both the Patriots and Jets probably aren’t that good.

But the Bills could prove tough against the BetUS online wagering spread in this game.

Let’s get to it!

Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills

Kick-off: 8:35 p.m. est.

Against the BetUS Online Wagering Spread: Browns +5 ½

BetUS Money Line: Browns +200

BetUS Over/Under Total: 41

Against the Online Betting Spread: The Cleveland Browns aren’t a terrible team. For some reason, they just can’t put it all together. You can’t blame the quarterback position where both Derek Anderson, who started this NFL season as the number one guy, and former Notre Dame star Brady Quinn have done a decent job. You can’t blame the coaching necessarily as Romeo Crenel has had this team in position to win more than one close game this season. But you can blame that ballyhooed defense that is one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time. With all of that being written, there’s something about this game that tells me the Browns can beat the online betting spread. Why? Because the Buffalo Bills are absolutely reeling after a torrid start to this NFL season. I’m going with the Browns at +5 ½ in the BetUS Sportsbook.

BetUS Money Line: The Browns are +200 on the money line and I have to admit that it’s tempting, but I’m going to have to pass. The Bills will play well in this game. I just don’t think that Buffalo will blow out the Browns. The Browns could win this game straight-up but let’s be honest; Cleveland just doesn’t like to win. They have a problem with winning. That means they will keep this game close and probably lose by a last second field goal or something.

BetUS Over/Under Total: Okay, this is a strange total. 41 is not a lot in my book which leads me to believe that there are a lot of NFL betting fans out there who might have a different opinion than me. I don’t believe that the Browns defense has any chance of keeping Marshawn Lynch, Lee Evans and Trent Edwards out of the end zone. I also don’t believe that Buffalo’s defense has any chance of keeping Jamal Lewis, Braylon Edwards and Brady Quinn out of the end zone. To me, this game could easily end up around 24 to 21 which would beat the BetUS Over/Under Total by 4 points. I’m going with the Over in this game.

Good Luck!
