NFL Week 11 Free Picks - New York Jets vs. New England Patriots

Bookmark and Share by Tim Furious

For all of you Patriots fans out there that are still crying “Bloody Mary!” over the loss to Indianapolis, enough already. Grow up. This is football and crying over questionable ref calls, or even more confusing coaching calls, is just plaing childish.

What you should be happy about is the fact that the only team that stands in the way of your success is….wait for it…yourself! This isn’t some stupid monk mantra or anything. Literally, as long as the Patriots make smart football decisions, they’re a Super Bowl contender. You just can’t argue against that. Are you going to crucify your coach for ONE dumb decision when he’s given you four Super Bowl berths and three rings? Stop it already.

Speaking of dumb decisions, how great is the soap opera of Dirty Sanchez becoming? As the weather gets colder, this guy’s numbers are just icing over in a bad way. He was anointed as the early Rookie of the Year favorite after a 3-0 SU start, but falling to just 1-5 SU in the last 6 games with a complimentary 1-5 ATS record to boot, has made Sanchez a mortal rookie instead of an immortal hero in Jersey.

Not helping the Jets already is two division losses to Miami. They already have a win over New England in hand, but things are not looking pretty for the Jets right now. They’re just 2-4 ATS in their last six road games and 2-5 SU against New England.

Patriots -11 @ Gillete Stadium.

New York Jets (4-5) vs. New England Patriots (6-3)

Sunday, November 22 nd --- Gillette Stadium, Foxboro --- 4:15pm EST

NFL Betting Line: New England -11 (45)

Sure, a 10-3 ATS record on the road in Foxboro helps boost the hopes of Jets fans, but this New England team is in serious “FU” mode. There is no single team I would rather avoid in Week 11 than the Patriots. After a narrow loss to the arch-rival Colts, everyone questioning them and their coach and a furious Tom Brady at the helm, is there any doubt that this is going to end in a score of 45-10?

The Patriots, in an often overlooked fact from last weekend, still covered the spread. They’re 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games and have been ripping off wins like crazy. They went toe-to-toe with the best team in the AFC and cost themselves a win on one very big mistake. Forget the “4 th and 2” from the epic Sunday night betting battle. It’s time to move forward, and for New England, that starts by dismantling rookie Dirty Sanchez and his coach.

If Rex Ryan was in tears last week, he’ll be sobbing like a pregnant chick who just realized that Chik-Fil-A is closed on Sunday.

Furious Free Pick: New England -11 (OVER)
