Ravens Host Raiders as Both Teams Look For Consecutive Wins

The Oakland Raiders (2-4 SU, 3-3 ATS, 3-3 O/U) and Baltimore Ravens (3-3 SU, 4-2 ATS, 3-3 O/U), each snapped their respective three-game losing streaks on Sunday in the BetUS Sportsbook and enter this matchup on Sunday at M & T Bank Stadium.

The Raiders surprised the New York Jets, and likely costing a bunch of bettors some dough in the process, winning 16-13 at home in overtime as place-kicker Sebastian Janikowski booted a 57-yard field goal in overtime to cover as 3-point home underdogs in Week 7.

Young quarterback JaMarcus Russell completed just 17 of 30 passes for 203 yards and one touchdown, hooking up with veteran wide receiver Javon Walker five times for 75 yards and his lone TD pass.

Oakland ran for a combined, 175 rushing yards, with Justin Fargas leading the way with 74 yards on 28 carries while limiting New York quarterback Brett Favre to 197 passing yards while picking off the veteran signal caller twice and sacking him on three other occasions.

The Ravens handled the Miami Dolphins on the road, winning 27-13 as rookie quarterback Joe Flacco went 17-for-23 for 232 yards and one touchdown and running back Willis McGahee added 105 yards on the ground on 19 carries.

Baltimore’s strong defense also picked of Miami quarterback Chad Pennington once and held running backs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to just 27 and 16 yards respectively to cover as 3-point road underdogs.
