NFL predictions. Several highlights from the AFC North division are essential for sure-fire successful football betting.
AFC North
Under the first year in the Mike Holmgren era, the Cleveland Browns (1-2 in preseason play) will have a unique mix of players on their roster. The Browns, however, will be weak initially as these players need to gain experience and cohesiveness.
The Cincinnati Bengals (2-2 in preseason play) have answered the unasked questions regarding the receiver position with the release this week of Antonio Bryant. With so many talented players in this position, the Bengals will rely upon their top four in Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Owens, Jordan Shipley and Andre Caldwell. This dynamic quarto will be menacing and offer quarterback Carson Palmer ample scoring opportunities.
The feisty Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1 in preseason play) lost to Denver in a game in which four personal fours committed by the starting defense. The Steelers coaching staff will have its hands full managing this team, along with the infamous Big Ben, through the long-haul of the season.
The offensive line of the Baltimore Ravens (3-0 in preseason play) needs some strengthening, as Tony Moll was unable to answer the defensive attacks of the New York Giants and five sacks were allowed in the game. This team still could be shuffling players around into regular season play.
Lesson Learned from Preseason: Don’t let these preseason records fool you. Although Baltimore has not yet lost a game, take note that several Ravens players will miss time during the regular season due to injuries, including linebacker Sergio Kindle, cornerback Domonique Foxworth and wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth.
