It doesn’t get any better than this NHL Playoff Betting fans as tonight it’s Game 7 between the Buffalo Sabres and the Philadelphia Flyers tonight and only one team can move on. This series has had everything, and with a war of words having taken place in the media leading up to this one, the tension couldn’t be higher for tonight’s Eastern Conference showdown.
The Flyers escaped elimination in Game 6 with a huge overtime win in Buffalo, as Ville Leino potted the winner just 4:43 into OT to move this series back to Philly for the deciding Game 7.
That’s a tough loss to take for the Sabres as you have to believe that if they were going to pull off the upset, it had to be at home in Game 6.
Buffalo Sabres vs. Philadelphia Flyers

Brian Boucher is going to be the man in net for the Flyers when they try to clinch the series tonight, one of three Flyer goalies to have played in this series. He’s been by far the most successful, posting a 3-1-0 mark so far this series with a 2.11 GAA and a 9.35 Save Percentage. There is no doubt who will be between the pipes for Buffalo tonight as Ryan Miller is the best player on this team, and has looked that way in this series, posting a 2.61 GAA and a .925 Save Percentage against a very dangerous Flyers club.

With Tim Connolly out after Brad Richards’ questionable hit, getting Derek Roy back tonight couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. Roy hasn’t laced them up since December 23rd after tearing a torn left quadriceps, and although he’s sure to be a little rusty he will provide a huge emotional boost for this club. It’s still uncertain if that will be enough to knock off the favoured Flyers, but it gives them a much better shot than if he wasn’t in the lineup.
Here are some NHL Odds Betting Trends:
• Over is 14-2-1 in the last 17 meetings in Philadelphia.
• Over is 21-6 in the last 27 meetings.
• Sabres are 5-2 in the last 7 meetings in Philadelphia.
• Flyers are 8-3 in their last 11 playoff games as a favourite.
The Sabres went on a good run, but I think the Flyers will be by far the better team tonight. They’re playing at home and have the momentum after a big overtime win, and I just don’t see how Buffalo can match the Flyers tonight.
My NHL Playoff Betting play tonight in on Philly to win straight up.
