Dec. 1 Hockey Picks

Hockey Guy is on fire! Well, not quite, but we've delivered after bottoming out at .500. It's now three straight winning nights and counting for Hockey Guy. Where are all the H.G. Haters now? Anyway, on to business. We're looking to make it four straight winning articles here in the Locker Room, so here are my three picks for the night. Do with them what you will. Good Luck!

Overall Record: 14-11-1
Last night:            2-1

Ottawa over Boston on the money line

After losing their captain yesterday in a trade with San Jose, the Bruins players have got to be in shock. They will be disorganized, emotional and overwhelmed. Meanwhile, the Senators are off to one of the best starts in NHL history. Take the visiting Sens on the money line and jump all over the wounded pride of Boston.

Toronto over Atlanta on the money line

The Maple Leafs and Thrashers had an ugly affair last time in Atlanta (Leafs won 9-1 and there were several cheap shots) and this one could be much of the same. Toronto is playing better hockey as of late, is healthy and hates Atlanta. Expect them to come out with fire in their eyes and beat up on the Thrashers. Take the Leafs on the money line and possibly the spread if you are daring.

St. Louis over Columbus on the money line

Columbus won in shootouts last night against the Wild. Therefore, you have to figure they are drained. Meanwhile, St. Louis is getting some good goaltending latley. In a low-scoring affair, take the Blues at home on the money line. If you really want to add some action to this game, you might want to grab the under as well.
