NCAA Betting – Who is Your Best Bet to Win the Frozen Four?

March is no time to limit your NCAA Betting Dollar on just Basketball. The NCAA Men’s Division I championship is also taking place. The Semi-Final games go on April 7 and the Final will be played on April 9. It is a pretty wide-open field this year that has only one of its predicted #1 seeds participating in the Final Four.

Interestingly, possibly the best two teams left – North Dakota and Michigan play in the semi-finals meaning that one of the two underdogs in the tournament will be playing for the Title on April 9.

Where does the smart money go and which one of the Underdogs could yield a healthy NCAA Betting return?

North Dakota (32-8-3)

North Dakota is unquestionably the best team left in the tournament. They have won 11 straight games overall and just completed a weekend in which they outscored their tournament foes 12-1 in two games. They are a Number One seed for good reason!

North Dakota is deep and they are talented. They have a very strong defense that is being anchored by goaltender Aaron Dell who has stopped 46 of the 47 shots that he has faced in the tournament so far. North Dakota also boasts a dynamic offense with the best player in the league – Matt Frattin.

The smart NCAA Betting money goes on North Dakota for sure – they are simply the class of the field!

Minnesota Duluth (24-10-6)

I have Minnesota advancing to the Final over Notre Dame. They do have a chance at winning it all! Minnesota Duluth came into the season with a lot of expectation and with one of the better rosters in the NCAA. They have had an up and down year but appear to have put it all together at precisely the right time. A win over Number One Seed Yale in their last game is proof.

Minnesota Duluth plays a fast, offensive brand of hockey – its feast or famine! The talent on the roster is evident – Jack and Mike Connelly along with line mate Justin Fontaine are one of the best lines in the NCAA. But unfortunately, that’s where it stops. They are not a very deep team but given a few power plays, this team could light up the scoreboard.

Minnesota Duluth could be a huge NCAA Betting surprise. They have played very well in the tournament and with any slip up from North Dakota; this team could win it all.

Michigan (28-10-4)

Michigan has the unenviable task of playing North Dakota in the semi-finals which diminishes their value. They do have the pedigree – nine Titles to their credit but they lack the offense to keep up with North Dakota. Goaltending has been strong but a team has to score to win!

Because Michigan has to get by North Dakota with minimal offense, you NCAA Betting Dollar will be in peril here. Even if Michigan gets by North Dakota, their offense will likely be stymied by their next opponent too!

Notre Dame (25-13-5)

Notre Dame’s time will come. They have 12 freshmen on the team. Goaltender Mike Johnson has been playing very well but I can`t see it being enough to take them to the promise land. Besides, Notre Dame is notoriously bad in the post season.
