Wild to Pounce on Road Weary Canucks

I hate you, Minnesota is 15-8 SU in their last 23 games at home. There may be a new “best bet” in the Northwest Division. And it lies in hockey crazy Minnesota.

NHL Free Pick: Minnesota -165

Colorado Pump Up the Suck

Both teams have a combined losing record of 6-12 in the past 12 games. Yay for ineptitude! With Dallas’s on going distraction from the petulant Sean Avery, I’m inclined to encourage Colorado on the road here. With Colorado posting a win in their last visit to Dallas, I’d say side with the team with less baggage.

NHL Free Pick: Colorado +125

St. Louis Tonight

What the hell happened to the Blue? In September you couldn’t find a game they would lose. Now they’ve gone 1-4 SU in their last 5 at home and have just five wins in their last 15 games. To top things off they’ve only managed to beat Calgary once in their last 11 games. That’s not the most encouraging thing to bet on despite being home dogs. Take the road favored Calgary Flames in this one folks.

NHL Free Pick: Calgary -145

Edmonton to Beat Up My New Most Hated Team

The LA Kings might as well be called the LA Queens because there doing nothing to satisfy their betting faithful. They’re a lowly 3-4 SU when they’re favored and 7-10 as dogs. This team is supposed to be comprised of the next wave of up and comers, and the only thing this team is proving that they can’t post a win to save their betting backers’ asses. Forget it. Edmonton is riding a 4-2 SU record in their last 6 roadies and gets to beat up on a team that has two straight losses.

NHL Free Pick: Edmonton +115
