Well, all good streaks have to come to an end. We took it on the chin last night, losing two and tying another. Those darn Avalanche, they have cost us some money so far this season. Let's get back on the winning side right now baby!

Overall Record 7-6-1
Last Night        0-2-1

Tampa Bay over Washington

Yes, the Lightning just played last night. However, they played their best game in three weeks! It looks like they are finally playing the type of hockey that made them the champs. At any rate, the Capitals are a scrappy bunch, but are nowhere near the calibre of Tampa Bay when they are firing on all cylinders. Take the Lightning on the money line.

Tampa Bay-Washington Over 6.5

Wow, can these two clubs score in bunches or what? The Lightning scored five goals last night, while Capitals' rookie Ovechkin is usually good for a goal or two all by himself. The over looks very attainable here. Bet over 6.5 goals.

Los Angeles over Nashville

The Kings are scoring goals like no one else lately (well, except for Ottawa that is). They're riding some good goaltending and a great top line. Nashville is looking sluggish since their torrid start. Look for the Kings to continue scoring. Take LA.
