The Boston Bruins (-170) play host to the much improved New York Islanders (+150) in the second of four meetings between these Eastern Conference.

New York will be looking for some revenge as the last time these two hooked up, the Islanders jumped out to a three goal lead before collapsing, allowing the B’s to come all the way back and eventually take it in a shootout 4-3.

The Islanders are in the middle of a seven-game road trip that will be a real test of this team’s character. Boston has been a far cry from their league leading performance last year. This season has been chalk full of disappointing performances and last game was a perfect example of this as they allowed Pittsburgh to tie the game with just 0.4 seconds remaining in regulation. The night of letdowns was topped off in overtime as Tim Thomas misplayed a dump in behind the net and Pascal Dupuis jumped all over it, completing the comeback for the Penguins
