Arguably the two best teams in the Detroit may have won the last matchup, but this series has been see-sawing all season.

Nashville is following the lead of Paul Kariya, who has seven points in the past five games for the Predators. He has been picking up the slack for a team that has Forsberg, Sullivan and Scott Hartnell on the bench. The Predators are clearly the team to beat in the West, while Detroit is still trying to lay claim to that very same title.

Detroit’s problem has been turnovers for the past couple games. Since beating Nashville on March 6th, Detroit won a close one against Boston. Both of those games were at home in Detroit. As they hit the road in Nashville, Detroit’s 19th ranked road scoring offense will not be enough to control the Predators at home.

Look for Kariya to continue his point streak as he cranks it up a notch against the biggest threat to their Western Conference crown. The Preds and Wings have alternated wins all season. Detroit won the last game, Nashville is playing at home and the Predators are playing much better hockey right now.
