The Boston last Saturday, the Rangers are laying claim to the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference. Boston, on the other hand, is cruising a three-game losing streak and is headed for the cellar.
Jaromir Jagr is continuing his exhilarating playmaking in March. He has seven points in the last fie games, and now has Brendan Shanahan back in the lineup to help raise some hell. The Rangers’ power play has been solid lately; going 6/16 in the last three games.
What can I say about the Bruins? They have gone 2-6 SU in their last eight games and have not beaten the Rangers in their past five meetings. The defense is third worst in the league, and their scoring is not that much better, at 2.8 goals per game.
Do not expect anything crazy from the Bruins. With Jagr at the top of his game, and the Rangers battling for a playoff spot, they will do everything short of burning the TD Banknorth Garden to the ground to get the win. Take the Rangers hands down.
