Olympics - Rugby and Golf Added in 2016
by Tim Furious

In Olympic news today, the IOC revealed that it will consider adding both rugby and golf to the Summer Olympics in 2016. This is huge news for both international sports, especially if Tiger Woods is somehow involved. The only issue for Tiger – and it’s a big one – they are planning on making golf a 72-hole, match-play event.
For those familiar with Tiger in match play, he hasn’t had the best of luck. Either way, the Olympics and the television stations that garner much of the revenue off the event, would be idiots to not seize the opportunity to work Tiger Woods in to the Olympics. No matter which style of play they adhere to, adding Tiger Woods to the already esteemed class of athletes at the Summer Olympics is a move in the right direction.
Rugby is still in the process of offering two different sets of the game. The regular game, which is 15-a-side team game is being proposed, as well as the popular 7-a-side version. If Sevens is the approved version, then the IRC would abolish the Sevens World Championships in favor of the Olympics. Rugby is considered one of the most popular sport in the world, and is prevalent in Europe, Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and is a booming sport in the United States.
Also vying for attention in the committee hearings are softball and karate. There are multiple rounds of voting involved in the process, so stay tuned to online betting in 2016 relies on it!
