Hey Tako- Good question. You can bet on either team regardless of what line you choose to bet on, the difference is simply the return on your bet. The money line simply represents the posted odds, based on a $100 dollar bet. That will be the pay out if either team wins the game outright. The run line, however involves a 1 ? run spread that the team you bet on has to cover. Because there is a spread involved the odds change and the smart better will take the odds-change into account if he chooses to maximize his potential return.
