Vikings (+4.5) over Packers
Minnesota and Green Bay both won last week, meaning you would usually go with the home team right? Wrong. Lambeau is not the same anymore and neither is Brett Favre. He's got so many injuries around him that the Packers will be raiding their sons' teams soon. The Vikings are finally playing good defense and Brad Johnson is doing enough to win games. I like this game to be close, and even Minnesota to win it outright. Take the points and pluck some coin down on the Vikings.
There are two games in Week 11 of the NFL schedule, that to me, scream out as locks. I have to say that they are both away teams. This might not be what my fellow bettor wants to hear. But I really do think they are as good as gold and I am willing to put my money where my mouth is. Here they are:
Carolina (-4.5) over Chicago
Laying points in Soldier field is tough, but I really think the Bears are overrated. Think of Benson now out too. The Panthers are the play here. I heard Angelo D. on BetUS.com Radio on Wednesday say he also liked the Panthers, just like Eric Williams from Football.com. Carolina can match the Bears defense and can score when they need to. Winning by only five points doesn't seem like a stretch.
