If you bet on American Idol, the action is red hot as the BetUS American Idol odds - found in the Entertainment section of the Sportsbook - have been re-set on each of the 13 finalists. The final 36 were divided into three groups of 12, as viewers voted three from each group to set the field of nine.

Group 1's three voted in by viewers are 28-year-old church music director Danny Gokey (+300) from Milwaukee, WI, 21-year-old musician Alexis Grace (+1400) from Memphis, TN, and 27-year-old oil rig worker Michael Sarver (+3500) from Jasper, TX.

Group 2 was arguably the strongest and produced the odds on favorite to win the most popular singing contest ever and the most watched show in America that's even captivated action from the sports betting community. The three who advanced from this group are Allison Iraheta (+1000), a 16-year-old high school student from Los Angeles, Kris Allen (+3000), a 23-year-old University of Central Arkansas student from Conway, AR, and Adam Lambert (+200), a 26-year-old theater actor from Los Angeles.

The final three to advance from Group 3, was Lil Rounds (+400), a 24-year-old mother of three from Memphis, TN, Scott MacIntyre (+2000) a 23-year-old college graduate from Scottsdale, AZ, and Jorge Nuñez (+3500) a 21-year-old college student from Cidra, Puerto Rico. This completed the field of nine that advanced via the traditional American Idol voting procedure made by viewers.

The wild card round ultimately led to four contestants being given a second chance. It was a tough call for the judges as each performed at their best one final time in hopes of advancing as a wild card entry. Eight previously voted off hopefuls made the wild card cut, from that eight the four who won the judge's respect to move on were Jasmine Murray (+2000) a 17-year-old high school student from Columbus, MS, Megan Joy Corkrey (+1500) a 23-year-old single mother from Salt Lake City, Utah, Matt Giraud (+750) a 23-year-old armature musician from Ypsilanti, MI, and Anoop Desai (+1000) a 21-year-old college student from Chapel Hill, NC.

Online American Idol betting insight starts with a two-hour special on Tuesday, beginning at 8:00pm EST. Michael Jackson is Tuesday's theme and each contestant will perform, while showcasing their best rendition of a piece produced by arguably the best pop artist of all-time. On Thursday, starting at 9:00pm EST, one contest will be told to ''beat it''.
