Stoke City head to White Hart Lane on Saturday still in search of their first away win on the season. History is against the Potters, however, as they haven’t managed to produce any winning magic in north London for 34 years. Well, at least for a few hours as Chelsea play host to Blackburn Rovers (cakewalk for the Blues) and Manchester United visit Anfield, hoping to heap more misery on Liverpool.

Tottenham are third in the Premier League table on 19 points after nine cycles. They are two points shy of Chelsea FC and three points shy of top of the table Man U. They will be mindful of the opportunity to scale the table at the weekend and continue applying pressure on the top duo.

Soccer Betting Trends: Stoke City have managed to walk away with a point in their last three away matches and that they have been capable of doing so might lend some the opinion they would do so against Tottenham on Saturday. The market is having none of it though, tipping Stoke as the clear underdog in this math at +650 to win outright and even tipping the draw out of reach at +325. Last year, the Potters went down to the Spurs twice. The same is expected this time around. Keep in mind, the Spurs have only lost one match at home in the early season and that loss came to reigning champions Manchester United. The positive trend 3-0-1 at White Hart Lane is unlikely to change this weekend.
