Birmingham City have plenty reason to be worried as they look ahead to their upcoming weekend clash against Arsenal. The Gunners are after thrashing Blackburn 6:2 for their fifth Premier League win and finally starting to prove their detractors wrong. An off-form outfit such as Birmingham has little to hope for in this match indeed.

Soccer Betting Verdict: The Gunners are finally picking up the momentum Arsene Wenger always maintained his men had and more importantly, showing results for all to read and weep.

Birmingham City are struggling to make the grade in Premier League action. They are currently 14 th in the table with seven points after eight cycles: 2-1-5 mark overall. They play better at home clearly having gone 1-1-2 at home but struggling something awful on the road lately with a 1-0-3 mark on the away. Their only away win came against Hull City, who, let’s face it, are having loads of problems this season.
There really isn’t much to contemplate in this match just keep in mind two key factors: Arsenal are on a six match winning streak spanning all competitions and they are in formidable scoring form. Hence the obvious plays are Arsenal at -600 to win outright and Over 3.5 goals +125. On combined goals the market is leaning more towards the under but with Birmingham’s awful road record I think they will fold easily and quickly drown in a blaze of goals.
