Bundesliga Betting Tips: VFB Stuttgart and Werder Bremen in action

Now that Champions League is over for VFB Stuttgart (they lost something huge to Barcelona 4:0 in the second leg), they can turn their full attention to Bundesliga. Should be a refreshing change for them as they gear up for their first domestic commitment against Hannover 96 on Saturday, a match they are expected to win big. Werder Bremen, meanwhile, will host Bochum on Saturday and they are also expected to emerge victorious.

Soccer Betting Verdict: The loss to Barcelona was a disappointment to Stuttgart because they headed to Campu Nou still in contention with a real shot to advance in European action. However, they failed. Even failed to make an impression they did, as they were blanked out.
I suppose the result isn’t surprising. I mean Barcelona are the defending European Champions. Disappointing it might have been but it was to be expected and as such, Stuttgart can’t be all that bummed about it.
I expect they will bounce back nicely this Saturday against Hannover 96. What makes this an ideal match for Stuttgart to regain some of that lost confidence is the fact that Hannover are hovering in the danger zone and on paper, are a lightweight. Stuttgart have slipped up in form a tad but they should turn things around here.

Soccer Betting Verdict: Werder Bremen are on good form right now with a five-match undefeated run and they head into the weekend as the solid favourites at -300 to beat Bochum, carrying a price of +850.
Bochum are seriously disadvantaged but for good reason. They are on a two-match losing streak and in their last five matches they only hauled five points with a win and back-to-back draws. Bochum should not be able to threaten Bremen at all.
Bremen is the better play at -300. Moreover, I fancy Bremen to cover the spread at -1 ½ -115. This could be a good match for Bremen to flex their muscles with so the totals at Over 3 -125 would also be a good play.
Bremen are sixth in the table on 42 points. A victory here could see them scale the table to fifth or even fourth spot depending on the results of Hamburger SV and Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.
