Manchester City stayed in sixth spot after a surprise loss to Hull City at the weekend. Man City missed a huge opportunity to climb up the table, especially, after Tottenham drew scoreless in their fixture against Aston Villa and served up the fifth spot on a platter. Good news for the Spurs (well sort of, if you overlook the point from a possible three), the Citizens were equally, if not more so, lackadaisical; too bad so sad for the Citizens, I suppose.
